Your naming style is very similar to mine. I’m in love with your girl’s list, but this one seems to lack some of its pizzazz (but the only one I really don’t like is [name]Declan[/name]. I’m not even sure why). My two favorites are [name]Calvin[/name] and [name]George[/name] (both on my list). I’m inclined to suggest [name]George[/name] [name]Calvin[/name] as a combination.

[name]Do[/name] you mind if I ask what your son’s name is? It might help get a better idea of what will sound good together.

Other possibilities:
[name]Calvin[/name] [name]Everett[/name]
[name]George[/name] [name]Sebastian[/name]
[name]Shane[/name] [name]Milo[/name]
[name]Christopher[/name] [name]Declan[/name]
[name]Declan[/name] [name]Patrick[/name] (assuming your surname isn’t two syllables. That might make it a little 2 heavy)

[name]Declan[/name] is my favorite from your list. [name]Milo[/name] is also a solid option (though I prefer [name]Miles[/name]). [name]Calvin[/name] would be a great name, but I just can’t get over it’s meaning. What about [name]Callum[/name] instead?

[name]George[/name] I’ve always thought sounded really funny as a given name (despite it’s US historical significance). Really not a fan at all. Plus, the association to the 2 [name]Bush[/name] presidents is also really strong (and whether you like them or not, they’re very divisive (especially W) in the sense that people tended to either liked them a lot or hated them passionately. I wouldn’t really want such a strong association to any political figure personally, but especially one who so many people seem to have such strong emotions about).
[name]Shane[/name] is useable but just not my style. Feels a little harsh to me.

I voted [name]Declan[/name] but I was extremely close to voting [name]Shane[/name]!

[name]Milo[/name]! I also think [name]Calvin[/name] is very cute, I know an adorable baby with this name.

[name]Milo[/name] [name]George[/name], [name]Milo[/name] [name]Shane[/name]

My favorites are [name]Calvin[/name], [name]Declan[/name], and [name]Milo[/name].

My favorites are [name]Milo[/name] and [name]Calvin[/name]. [name]Calvin[/name] seems to be one of my husband’s favorite names, as it’s the only name he’s ever suggested to me without being sarcastic. [name]Milo[/name] was my absolute favorite boys name for year and years, but my husband has always insisted that it is a dog’s name (and I had to give up the fight with him when my aunt gave her new dog this name :(). However, I do still love the name so much!

I prefer [name]Miles[/name] with the nickname [name]Milo[/name]… But I vote [name]Milo[/name]… [name]Declan[/name] is my second choice

I love [name]Milo[/name] (I also prefer it as a nn for [name]Miles[/name]). I also like [name]George[/name]. Followed by [name]Shane[/name], [name]Calvin[/name] and [name]Declan[/name].

[name]Calvin[/name] is my favorite from your list. I’m not super fond of any of the others. Though I only dislike [name]Declan[/name].

I love [name]Calvin[/name]! [name]Declan[/name] and [name]George[/name] are fine too, but I’m not a huge fan of [name]Milo[/name] (reminds me of a pet and I prefer [name]Miles[/name], anyway) or [name]Shane[/name] (don’t particularly like the sound).

[name]Milo[/name] or [name]Declan[/name].

I voted for [name]Calvin[/name] and [name]George[/name], two names I happen to really love. The others don’t do much for me, especially [name]Declan[/name] (but I might be over Celtic names in general). [name]Milo[/name] is cute but seems very trendy, and a little insubstantial. [name]Shane[/name] is one of those names that’s been tainted by that little clap/hand game I used to play as a kid. I think it’s actually "[name]SHAME[/name], [name]SHAME[/name], [name]SHAME[/name], I don’t want to go to Mexico no MORE, MORE, MORE. But we always said, [name]SHANE[/name] [name]SHANE[/name] [name]SHANE[/name].

I love [name]Calvin[/name], but don’t like the meaning “baldness” : (

1 [name]Milo[/name]
2 [name]George[/name]
3 [name]Shane[/name]
4 [name]Calvin[/name]
5 [name]Declan[/name]

It looks like you’re winning.

For what it’s worth, I’m with your son here–I love [name]Calvin[/name]! I think my opinion might change if I knew what your son’s name was, but I think [name]Calvin[/name] is so quirky and cute, and I love that it’s your son’s favorite. [name]George[/name] and [name]Declan[/name] are my favorites after that. I would really love to see [name]Calvin[/name] [name]George[/name], too. While I like [name]Milo[/name], I tend to prefer it as a MN, and I don’t love it.

Good luck!

I really love [name]Declan[/name] and [name]Milo[/name]

I love [name]Declan[/name] and [name]George[/name]. To be honest I really am not a huge fan of [name]Milo[/name]. [name]Calvin[/name] is fine too.

My son is [name]Calvin[/name] and his middle name is [name]Blake[/name]

dovah- Thank you for your suggestions. I think it’s pretty funny that you suggested [name]Everett[/name] as a middle name for [name]Calvin[/name], since my son’s middle name is [name]Everett[/name] (first name [name]Liam[/name]).

javad- I never cared much for [name]Miles[/name]. I’m not sure I see why so many people seem to think [name]Milo[/name] is a nickname. I feel like it is substantial enough on its own. Also [name]George[/name] has too many other associations for the presidential one to bother me (when I think of presidents named [name]George[/name], I think of [name]George[/name] [name]Washington[/name], anyway. Not saying it’s a better association, just the more likely to me). Thank you for your input.

ashthedreamer- My son is putting up quite the fight for [name]Calvin[/name]. He doesn’t have a single opinion about girl names, but he is convinced he’s getting a [name]Calvin[/name]! My husband got the complete [name]Calvin[/name] and [name]Hobbes[/name] collection for [name]Christmas[/name] last year, and since then my son has been obsessed. I’m not sure how I feel about that association, especially since I already have one little trouble maker.

As for everyone else, thank you for your votes! We have decided to remove [name]Shane[/name] from the list, since none of us can quite remember how it made it to the top 5 in the first place. We’re leaning toward [name]George[/name] [name]Calvin[/name] (since my husband keeps reminding me that I got to pick [name]Liam[/name]'s name), but I’m still holding on to [name]Milo[/name]. I think [name]Liam[/name] and [name]Milo[/name] would sound so cute together!
