I see [name_u]Barrie[/name_u] possibly causing problems, but it could also be cute - my suggestion, give her a name that can be shortened to [name_u]Barrie[/name_u]. [name_u]Barrie[/name_u] can be your nn for her, and if she grows up & likes it, she can go by that. Still, she’d have something to fall back on.

thanks @katerinann! For me, all of the B names woudl honor [name_u]Barry[/name_u] so I don’t think I need to stretch it too much. I think my top 5 (minus the [name_u]Barrie[/name_u]) would be my favorites (right now) of all the B names, and I have read over the nameberry list at least 15 times now.
[name_f]My[/name_f] favorites are [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] and [name_f]Brynn[/name_f]. I like the idea of incorporating your father somehow, but i don’t love the idea of [name_u]Barrie[/name_u] as a first. Maybe you could give her the same initials, his middle name, or use [name_u]Barrie[/name_u] in the middle…?

[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite is [name_f]Bree[/name_f], and then [name_f]Belle[/name_f]. [name_f]Bree[/name_f] is very cute, but [name_f]Belle[/name_f] is a little more sophisticated. [name_f]Belle[/name_f] may be better for when she is older.
[name_f]Bridget[/name_f]! It means [name_m]Noble[/name_m] which I love. There is also [name_f]Brielle[/name_f] nn [name_f]Brie[/name_f]. 
Brienne all the way! [name_m]Even[/name_m] though it is a GoT name, it’s still my favorite. I don’t generally like “B” names, but this one sounds refined for some reason.
