We are so close to finalizing baby girl’s middle name, and this community has been so amazing to bounce ideas off of!
We have been going back and forth between Ella June, Ella Margot and Ella Margaret. We honestly love all three it’s been so hard to choose. Also an update, we have eliminated Stevie Marie from the mix entirely. It was a long road to get here, but I have decided they just don’t feel right and one of these other options is meant to be her name. I feel much more settled knowing we are going to choose June, Margot, Margaret or a combination (June Margot).
Questions for you Berries …
Does Ella June sound very southern/country? That has been one thing I have been wondering about with this combo. We are not at all located in the South (we’re in Canada) so I just hesitate if this would come across strange at all.
What about the combination Ella June Margot? If we are having so much trouble deciding between the two, would it be so bad to give her both as middle names? Our other child only has one middle name, so I’m wondering if that would be an odd match for the sibling set.

I’m one of six and I have one less name than some of my sisters. Being a name nerd, I resent this a bit and I’m in my 40’s now so I don’t think I’ll ever be maturing out of that [name_f][/name_f] However, my other sisters with one vs two middles have never mentioned it and likely never thought about it as it isn’t important to them. So it’s a lottery, but there is a chance[name_f][/name_f] that your lesser-middled be a bit sad that his sister got more names. Is he old enough to ask his opinion?

I think this might be one of those things that is quite subjective as some people seem to prefer the [name_f]Ella[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]June[/name_f] combo and others the [name_f]Ella[/name_f] [name_f]June[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f] one.
