[name_f]Elsie[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] (after my favourite racehorse!) / [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] (after my beloved [name_f]Nan[/name_f])
[name_f]Georgina[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] (though [name_m]George[/name_m] is the number 1 boy choice)
[name_f]Lara[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]
Last name has a double L sound and ends in an ‘ee’
If it’s two syllable, then [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] possibly too cute
If it starts in an A (and possibly other vowels), [name_f]Lara[/name_f] and [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] might not sound great
If it starts in E, [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] might not work
Then I’m not sure if the ending of [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] goes with the -ee last name (if last name two syllable especially)
[name_f]Elsie[/name_f] [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] flows best (depending on last name). But my personal fave is [name_f]Lara[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] then [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f], but what about [name_f]Georgina[/name_f] [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] to honour your nan?
[name_f]Elsie[/name_f] [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f]. For me, [name_f]Nan[/name_f] will always trump a racehorse. Lol. I do love [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f], too.
[name_f]Elsie[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] - the different number of syllables in each name makes it flow nicely. However, I do think [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] is a name that will seem dated in 10-15 years. It’s cute and will come and go in terms of popularity but it’s not a ‘classic.’ [name_m]Just[/name_m] my opinion, clearly.
[name_f]Lara[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] - I like the simple ‘[name_f]Lara[/name_f]’ spelling - it seems modern and pairs nicely with the more elaborately spelled [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]
The [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] one - I love [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] and it’s very underused
I like that [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] honors a special person for you and it sounds nice. I also really like the simplicity and gentle sound of [name_f]Lara[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]. So, it’s between those two for me.
Ooh, [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] is stunning! It’s definitely my favorite for you. [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] is such a sweet, spritely first name, and [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] has such a meaningful connotation for you. It’s also elegant and unique.
[name_f]Elsie[/name_f] [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] (or [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] [name_f]Gwen[/name_f]). If you plan on having more children you might want to keep [name_m]George[/name_m] open as an option in the future.
I’d nix [name_f]Lara[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] depending on how rhymey it actually is with your surname (due to the double “L” sound and the “-ee” ending). Although, I do love [name_f]Lara[/name_f]!
Overall, my top two are [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] [name_f]Jade[/name_f] and [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] - with [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] just taking the top spot.
[name_f]Elsie[/name_f] [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] for sure. It has the best flow and best meaning to your family from what you’ve said, and I think the styles of the name are more closely matched than the other choices. Without the last name as somebody else mentioned, it is hard to truly determine flow and would be a big factor.
