Hello there! I’m a transman looking for a new name. (The search is killing me) Right now I’m thinking of [name_u]Aiden[/name_u], [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] or [name_m]Thatcher[/name_m] but looking to expand the list.
I was hoping for a name starting with “T” because of a family nickname, but i hardly like any of them. Though, bonus points if they do have a T sound in them.
I’m looking for something a little or a lot different, but that is unmistakably male.
A few less common T names on my list:
[name_m]Tabor[/name_m]
[name_m]Teague[/name_m]
[name_m]Thane[/name_m]
[name_m]Timo[/name_m]
[name_m]Tobiah[/name_m] / [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] / [name_u]Tobin[/name_u] (or just [name_u]Toby[/name_u])
[name_m]Tolliver[/name_m]
[name_m]Torin[/name_m]
[name_u]Tristan[/name_u]
Some suggestions based on [name_u]Aiden[/name_u], [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], and [name_m]Thatcher[/name_m]:

[name_m]Clement[/name_m]
[name_m]Felix[/name_m]
[name_m]Gilbert[/name_m]
[name_u]Justice[/name_u]

[name_m]Tybalt[/name_m] -ooh, that’s my favorite. You could be [name_m]Ty[/name_m] for short.
“[name_m]Hi[/name_m], I’m [name_m]Ty[/name_m].”
“Nice to meet you. Is that short for [name_u]Tyler[/name_u]?”
“No.”
I like your choices of [name_u]Aiden[/name_u] and [name_m]Thomas[/name_m]!
T names:
[name_m]Teague[/name_m] means “poet”, I love this name & it is a top boy name on my list. It is a Scottish male name, but [name_u]Teagan[/name_u] is often used for girls in the US.

[name_m]Dashiell[/name_m]
[name_m]Lucas[/name_m]
[name_u]Spencer[/name_u]
[name_u]Aiden[/name_u] is such a popular transman name. I’m not sure why guys always pick it. Sure it’s nice, but honestly very stereotypical for transguys. If you really like it though, go ahead!
As suggested before I love [name_m]Thatcher[/name_m], [name_m]Thain[/name_m], [name_m]Theodore[/name_m], [name_u]Tate[/name_u], and [name_m]Teague[/name_m]

I love the names you’re thinking about~
Maybe another suggestion would be [name_u]Theo[/name_u] or [name_u]Tyler[/name_u]?
Some ther ideas not starting with T are
[name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]
[name_m]Augustus[/name_m]
[name_m]Jasper[/name_m]
[name_m]Caleb[/name_m]
[name_m]Isaac[/name_m]
[name_u]Bellamy[/name_u]
I love “T” names for boys. I love [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], [name_u]Toby[/name_u] or [name_m]Tobias[/name_m], [name_m]Tanner[/name_m], [name_u]Tyler[/name_u], [name_u]Tristan[/name_u], [name_m]Todd[/name_m], [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] or [name_u]Theo[/name_u], [name_m]Timothy[/name_m].
Choose a name from the top 200 the hear you were born in the region you were born in
And/ or choose a very classic male name: [name_u]James[/name_u], [name_m]Jack[/name_m], [name_m]Thomas[/name_m]…
[name_m]Don[/name_m]'t be afraid to choose a name with similarities to your old name and you siblings names, making the change to a name that feels comfortable and natural with everyone and not a flashy more modern pic like [name_u]Aiden[/name_u] or [name_m]Trent[/name_m] that scream young boy and are often chose though as names, don’t get me wrong, they’re nice but they don’t have that comfortable adult feel all the time.
Keeping your initials the same? Its a thought, sometimes people get very excited and change so much, like youre the Same person as ever, just more comfortably you, do consider honoring yourself with your new name.
(not to imply you aren’t already doing all of this, simply suggestions as I don’t know.)
Oh as far as T names, T names are some of my favorites, theres a lot of versatility wit T names. Name the issue is a lot of them are quite different. Theres the [name_u]Tobin[/name_u]/ [name_u]Toby[/name_u]/ [name_m]Tobias[/name_m] set, All good. Theres the [name_m]Tom[/name_m] names would avoid them actually. [name_m]Tim[/name_m] is good but softer, I like it. You’ve got the Tunis and [name_u]Tully[/name_u] and all that from there… the list goes on…
Something nice to consider might be taking the meaning of your given name and finding a male name with the same meaning. say youre [name_f]Jane[/name_f], go to [name_m]John[/name_m].
Which brings me to J names, somehow J names make a statement but manage to be subtle. As do more Celtic names. [name_m]Liam[/name_m] and [name_u]James[/name_u] for example. Clearly male. clearly any age. Clearly solid and accepted. Perhaps poke around in the names that have been common enough for many man years but stay fujnand don’t seem to go feminine, aldo D names, [name_m]Daniel[/name_m], [name_m]David[/name_m], [name_m]Davis[/name_m], [name_u]Dorian[/name_u], [name_m]Dominic[/name_m]…
Good luck to you, you’ll know it when it pops out at you for sure. [name_m]Just[/name_m] together as a fill name like that it’ll feel right.
