Tree Names for Boys

I love the tree names for girls, like [name_u]Juniper[/name_u], [name_u]Willow[/name_u], [name_f]Maple[/name_f], [name_u]Hazel[/name_u] and [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] (they have so many!) But I’m really struggling to find a good tree name for a boy. What are your opinions on each of these? Which do you dislike? Which is your favorite? Any good ones I’ve overlooked? Thanks!

[name_u]Cedar[/name_u]
[name_u]Cypress[/name_u]
[name_u]Pine[/name_u]
[name_m]Hawthorn[/name_m]
[name_u]Forest[/name_u]

I like all the ones you’ve listed, [name_m]Forrest[/name_m] being my favorite. I like the idea of adding an -s to make [name_u]Pine[/name_u] into Pines.

Other cool tree names: [name_u]Birch[/name_u], [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], [name_u]Linden[/name_u], [name_u]Oak[/name_u]

Thank you! That’s a really cool idea and I’m liking Pines a lot actually! It feels like you just upped the coolness factor, like [name_u]Brooks[/name_u], [name_u]Hayes[/name_u], and all the other trendy ‘s’ ending names! I love [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] too, but my daughter is named [name_u]Monroe[/name_u] and she goes by [name_f]Roe[/name_f] often so that ones out for us.

[name_u]Alder[/name_u] and [name_m]Oren[/name_m] are my favorites. There’s also [name_m]Alon[/name_m] and [name_m]Ilan[/name_m].

aspen is one of my favorites!! :deciduous_tree:

I think [name_u]Cedar[/name_u] is awesome!! I also like [name_u]Ash[/name_u]

[name_u]Spruce[/name_u] maybe? [name_u]Ash[/name_u] for sure.

I have heard a little boy named [name_u]Oak[/name_u].
I think that’s sweet.

All I have to add is [name_m]Salix[/name_m]. [name_m]Salix[/name_m] is the scientific name for willows. I’m really loving it right now.

@DBrown Pines is exceptionally cool. [name_m]Oakes[/name_m] is a favourite of mine, so why not Pines!

I love all of these! I’d save [name_u]Pine[/name_u] for a middle, though, but that’s just my personal opinion! Forest/Forrest is my fave :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

I have to add…LINDEN and ROWAN!!! Oak/Oakley as well, and Maple(yep, I saw you like it for a girl, and it can be a boys name too!!), [name_u]Evergreen[/name_u], [name_u]Aspen[/name_u], [name_u]Arbor[/name_u], [name_u]Sequoia[/name_u], [name_u]Elm[/name_u], [name_u]Birch[/name_u], [name_u]Leaf[/name_u], and [name_u]Alder[/name_u]

[name_m]Radley[/name_m] means red forest I think

[name_m]Elwood[/name_m]

[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] is overused and too similar to extremely popular fast rising [name_m]Roman[/name_m]. I know so many babies called either [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] or [name_m]Roman[/name_m] or something else that merged together with those names.

Other than the ones you said…

Rowan
Asher
Ash
Oakley
Oak
Ewan (Yew tree)
Birch
Bark
Leaf

Hope that helps!

[name_u]Lennox[/name_u] - elm grove
[name_u]Linden[/name_u] - tree
[name_m]Silas[/name_m] -woodsman
[name_m]Silvan[/name_m] - forest

[name_u]Cedar[/name_u] and [name_m]Hawthorn[/name_m] are my favorites!
