Tree or wood names?

[name]Hi[/name]! I am REALLY struggling to name my baby girl. I was really hoping to come across with a name thats meaning pertains to anniversary or something of the sort, but no luck. In the process, however, I stumbled across the list of traditional anniversary gifts… this will be our fifth, which is wood. I was thinking maybe a tree or wood-related name would be sweet! Any suggestions? Thank you!

Well, [name]Hazel[/name], [name]Willow[/name], [name]Olive[/name], [name]Holly[/name] and [name]Laurel[/name] are the obvious choices for girls, but there are more:

I love [name]Ayla[/name]

I love the name [name]Juniper[/name]!

And I know someone who recently named her baby girl [name]Adair[/name].

My name, [name]Tamara[/name], means palm tree in hebrew, and water lily in hindi.

I pronounce it Ta MA ra (with the emphasis on the MA) but I know someone who says [name]TAMara[/name] (almost rhyming with camera)

It comes from the biblical name [name]Tamar[/name], and then an “a” was added in russia and that part of the world. I I like [name]Tamara[/name] better than [name]Tamar[/name]!)

good luck!x

[name]Phyllis[/name] means ‘green bough’.

[name]Acadia[/name] - [name]Acadia[/name] National [name]Park[/name]

[name]Evelyn[/name] - hazelnut
[name]Hadassah[/name] - myrtle tree
[name]Hazel[/name] - hazelnut tree
[name]Juniper[/name] - tree name
[name]Laura[/name] - bay laurel
[name]Laurel[/name] - ditto
[name]Myrtle[/name] - a kind of little tree
[name]Olive[/name], [name]Olivia[/name] - olive tree
[name]Sylvia[/name], [name]Sylvie[/name] - from the forest

You could also think of a bird name because birds live in trees. Or you could think of a deer name because deer live in the forest. There are so many beautiful bird and deer names!

[name]Melia[/name] is such a good name. [name]Will[/name] call my baby this name

[name]Melia[/name] is a very good name. I will give this name to my future child.

I adore [name]Willow[/name]. I also quite like [name]Rowan[/name] and [name]Juniper[/name].

If you want to go super short and ambi, [name]Ash[/name] is great, it is also a colour.
I like [name]Willow[/name] a lot. I it probably the most “IN” tree name right now.
[name]Olive[/name] is another quite tasteful name that is a tree and colour. It is cute, but it is not really sexy.
[name]Aspen[/name] is a tree and a place.
Why not [name]Forest[/name]? There is no real reason it cannot be used for a girl.

[name]Magnolia[/name]

[name]Olive[/name], [name]Olivia[/name] - olive tree…very nice name…sounds very tender for me
