I’ve been thinking about these two quite a lot lately, and I would love to hear your thoughts on them! [name_f][/name_f] I’m also fascinated by the idea of [name_m]Truett[/name_m] nn [name_m]Whit[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f]- [name_m]Whit[/name_m] has been in the back of my mind for several months (if not years). [name_f][/name_f] Would love to see them in any combos you like or overall thoughts on the names. [name_f][/name_f] [name_f]Do[/name_f] they work with [name_m]Caspar[/name_m], [name_f]Aquila[/name_f], [name_m]Rowan[/name_m], [name_m]Boaz[/name_m], [name_m]Bartholomew[/name_m], [name_m]Lorcan[/name_m], [name_m]Amias[/name_m], [name_m]Soren[/name_m], [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m], etc.?

[name_m]Truett[/name_m] isn’t my personal style, but I think the idea of [name_m]Whit[/name_m] as a nickname for him is absolutely fab. I could also see him working with [name_f]Aquila[/name_f] and [name_m]Boaz[/name_m] from your list, although I think [name_m]Truman[/name_m] blends a bit better overall.
And I’m not sure if you would like him, but I feel like I do have to say that I also love the idea of “Truth” as a nickname or full name for a little boy. Maybe as a middle…or even a longer form of [name_f]True[/name_f]? [name_f]Hope[/name_f] you can find something that sticks!
[name_m]Tru[/name_m]- is such a lovely prefix! I really like [name_m]Truman[/name_m] (cozy & handsome), neutral on [name_m]Truett[/name_m] (just not a huge fan of the sound personally). I do adore [name_m]Whit[/name_m] though. With your list (which is lovely btw) I think I prefer [name_m]Truman[/name_m]: He has more of a grounded edge and feels familiar but not all over the place [name_f][/name_f]- much like your other names.
[name_m]Truett[/name_m] and [name_m]Truman[/name_m] feel gentle, gentlemanly, and cool at the same time. I especially like Truett; it has a bit more zest [name_f][/name_f]- though [name_m]Truman[/name_m] feels calmer, vintage, slightly serious.

but to answer your question, i think first of truman from the pbs kids show martha speaks[name_f][/name_f]. not sure if that’s better or worse, but it makes it feel really nostalgic and sweet for me!

[name_f][/name_f] I do love that he feels bookish and cuddly but he also feels like a crinkled, sepia photo of a guy in a midwestern town wearing a three-piece suit in a saloon [name_f][/name_f]. He feels a little TOO stuck in the past for me? Hahaha surely it does! [name_f][/name_f] I don’t really think of it as a cowboy name or anything, not sure why I went to a saloon in the Midwest for my imagery [name_f][/name_f]. He mostly feels woodsy and kind and adventurous and has such a good heart.
