You are probably not pregnant. Depo-provera causes a lot of syptoms very close to pregnancy symptoms, like fatigue, breast soreness, weakness, spotty or missing periods (when not on depo-provera), irritability, stomach cramps, back pain, acne, etc. It is normal to not start your period right away. It may cause you to not have your period for a while or ever, and if you really want to check you could get one of those cheap pregnancy tests.

It is normal for your menstrual cycle to be dysregulated for up to a year after ceasing hormonal birth control (pills or depot formulations). I agree with [name]Ivy[/name], you are probably not pregnant, but rather experiencing new attempts at endogenous hormone regulation as your body adjusts to life without the long-acting progesterone.

If there is any question, you can always buy a test.

I’ve been on yaz since [name]May[/name] and since then have only had 2 cycles starting in [name]September[/name], so I would say it will just take awhile to get make to normal. I thought I had pregnancy signs but I think I just wanted it to happen quickly that I psyched myself out.
