I am writing a story and a western family has twin boys. Twin A is [name_m]Houston[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u] and Twin B will have middle name [name_u]James[/name_u]. Any ideas?
I’ve thought [name_u]Dallas[/name_u], [name_m]Austin[/name_m], [name_u]Hayden[/name_u], [name_m]Hayes[/name_m]…
If you want to go with something very matchy, I like [name_u]Dallas[/name_u] with [name_m]Houston[/name_m]; for something just regularly matchy, I like [name_m]Hayes[/name_m] and [name_m]Houston[/name_m]. I think both would work with the middle name nicely.
Other H names that could work:
Holdon, [name_u]Hudson[/name_u]
*And as a bonus, they end in “on” like [name_m]Houston[/name_m]
Not a fan of [name_u]Dallas[/name_u] or [name_m]Austin[/name_m], since they’re both city names it would make it seem like you cared more about their names being super matchy instead of picking names you really love. [name_u]Hayden[/name_u] and [name_m]Houston[/name_m] seem a little too similar in sound to me - they both start with H and both have the -en sounding ending. I like [name_m]Houston[/name_m] and [name_m]Hayes[/name_m] together. From your signature I like [name_m]Archer[/name_m] and [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] with [name_m]Houston[/name_m].
I read title and was thinking [name_m]Austin[/name_m] as a joke, I think for real it is a bit cheesy though (the matching that is, I like [name_m]Austin[/name_m])? But maybe it’s that kind of family?
If they are that kind of family I would pick Austin and Dallas and skip Houston as I don’t think it makes a great name.
I think [name_m]Hayes[/name_m] is best, but [name_m]Hayes[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] doesn’t flow right imo. If you were to use [name_m]Hayes[/name_m], it may be best to switch the middles - [name_m]Houston[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] and [name_m]Hayes[/name_m] [name_u]Michael[/name_u]. But if the twin has to have the middle name [name_u]James[/name_u], I’d go with [name_u]Hayden[/name_u].
