So, my cousin is having twin boys (She’s naming them [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] and [name_m]Issac[/name_m].). It got me thinking about what I’d name twin boys.
It was actually harder than I thought, though. I think right now they’d be [name_u]Jesse[/name_u] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] and [name_u]Noah[/name_u] [name_m]Patrick[/name_m].
What you you name twin boys if you had them tomorrow?
Out of curiosity, is she really spelling [name_m]Issac[/name_m] with two S’s rather than two A’s? I know that is a less common English-language variation, I’ve just never actually encountered it.
I’m pretty sure. I was a bit surprised at first when I saw it on Facebook. It could have possibly been a typo but I guess I’ll find out when they’re born.
I really like [name_m]Thiago[/name_m] [name_m]Ivan[/name_m] [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] & [name_m]Leandro[/name_m] [name_u]Tristan[/name_u] [name_m]Yves[/name_m]!
I’m not one for rhyming names on twins though so if I was nicknaming them, I would nickname them [name_u]Teddy[/name_u] and [name_m]Leo[/name_m] but they’re not my babies so if you wanna use [name_u]Theo[/name_u] and [name_m]Leo[/name_m] then go for it! I just think it would get confusing good luck on finding the right names!
@stellarvra99 I love [name_m]Thiago[/name_m] [name_m]Ivan[/name_m] [name_u]Sasha[/name_u] & [name_m]Leandro[/name_m] [name_u]Tristan[/name_u] [name_m]Yves[/name_m]
I think [name_u]Tristan[/name_u] and [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] maybe. Or [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] and [name_u]Tristan[/name_u]
I know the perks of rhyming nicknames but I just think [name_u]Theo[/name_u] & [name_m]Leo[/name_m] sound adorbs together. I’ll use them for a couple of months, when they start moving around we’ll use the other nicknames ([name_u]Teddy[/name_u] & [name_m]Leo[/name_m], [name_m]Iago[/name_m] & [name_m]Ander[/name_m]…). Anyways, in my family we are used to having loads of nicknames per person (my own daughter is [name_f]Nina[/name_f], [name_f]Vali[/name_f], [name_f]Valen[/name_f], [name_f]Vivi[/name_f]-boo…).
I’d probably go with [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] [name_u]Reid[/name_u] & [name_u]Luca[/name_u] [name_m]Scott[/name_m] or [name_m]Anthony[/name_m] [name_m]Vaughan[/name_m] & [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u]
First off, I love your cousin’s picks for boys names, [name_m]Ethan[/name_m] and [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] go together really well, but aren’t super matchy, which I think is the ultimate key in twin-naming.
I would probably go with [name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_u]Elliot[/name_u]-[name_m]Keith[/name_m] and [name_m]Felix[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u]-[name_m]Patrick[/name_m].
Today I’d probably go for [name_m]Edmund[/name_m] and [name_m]Charles[/name_m] but I’d probably go for nicknames [name_m]Eddie[/name_m] & [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] and I’m not too sure about the rhyming.
Otherwise maybe some combination of one of those and [name_m]Wilhelm[/name_m] ([name_m]Will[/name_m]).
I think I would go with [name_m]Gideon[/name_m] [name_m]Albert[/name_m] [name_m]Fox[/name_m] and [name_m]Jago[/name_m] [name_m]Oliver[/name_m] [name_u]Padget[/name_u].
[name_m]Eleazar[/name_m] [name_m]Stafford[/name_m] [name_m]John[/name_m] and [name_m]Esau[/name_m] [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] [name_u]Drew[/name_u], no doubt about it!!
[name_m]Esau[/name_m] and [name_m]Eleazar[/name_m] are my favourite twin set of names ever, and their combinations with [name_m]Shepherd[/name_m] and [name_m]Stafford[/name_m] have been set in stone for me for years, based on their family or religious ties. Second middle names is something I’ve been set on my entire life (again, family reasons) and when I do have kids my first two sons will have the second mns as [name_m]John[/name_m] and [name_u]Drew[/name_u] (more family names!!)
So the choice is simple
