Currently enjoying my ‘whale’ status at 28 weeks pregnant and trying to sort out names for my B/G twins
[name_u]Baby[/name_u] girl has been named [name_f]Briar[/name_f], I’m thrilled with it and unless I have some overwhelming change of heart at birth it’s stuck! So please no negative comments on her name, name negativity has really gotten me down when I know it shouldn’t bother me but it does.
I am completely stuck on boy names! I have liked [name_u]Jude[/name_u], [name_m]Wilder[/name_m], [name_u]Reid[/name_u], [name_m]Hugo[/name_m]. I like quite individual names but would like something that flows with [name_f]Briar[/name_f]. Surname is 1 syllable starting with B
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] and [name_u]Roan[/name_u]
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] and [name_m]Odin[/name_m]
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] and [name_u]Evan[/name_u]
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] and [name_u]Elias[/name_u]
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] and [name_m]Rufus[/name_m]
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] and [name_u]Auden[/name_u]
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] and [name_u]Dylan[/name_u]
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] and [name_m]Holden[/name_m]
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] and [name_m]Rhett[/name_m]
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] and [name_m]Silas[/name_m]
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] and [name_u]Seth[/name_u]
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] and [name_m]Milo[/name_m]
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] and [name_m]Hugo[/name_m]
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] is very cool & unique. I love that it’s a botanical name, but not overly frilly.
From the boy names that you’re thinking about, here are my thoughts:
[name_u]Jude[/name_u]-I love it! It’s so handsome & kind sounding. I love boy names that are equally masculine & gentle. It’s not super unique, but I don’t think over done either.
[name_m]Hugo[/name_m]-This is really cute. It’s sort of a different style from [name_f]Briar[/name_f], but I don’t think that’s a big deal. It’s fun, quirky, handsome & fairly uncommon.
[name_m]Wilder[/name_m]-This is a very cool name, I think that style wise it’s great w/[name_f]Briar[/name_f]. I’m not sure if they’re too rhyme-y together though.
[name_u]Reid[/name_u]-This is fine & works well. It’s a little bland though in my opinion.
I love the name [name_u]Briar[/name_u]! Out of what you have I think [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] works the best. I always think of [name_u]Briar[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] so maybe a boy name that means [name_f]Rose[/name_f]? [name_f]My[/name_f] first thought is [name_m]Ambrosi[/name_m] or [name_m]Emrys[/name_m].
[name_u]Briar[/name_u] and [name_u]Flynn[/name_u] sounds perfect.
Both short and snappy.
I would add
[name_m]Ottis[/name_m]
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u]
[name_u]Arlo[/name_u]
[name_u]Miles[/name_u]
[name_u]Milo[/name_u]
[name_u]Theo[/name_u]
[name_u]Ashton[/name_u]
[name_m]Deacon[/name_m]
[name_u]Wyatt[/name_u]
[name_m]Wesley[/name_m]
From your list, [name_u]Wilder[/name_u] is actually my favorite! Same style and feel as [name_u]Briar[/name_u] (which I LOVE!) while still being completely unique. Both even have a subtle nature connection. I also second suggestions of [name_u]Brooks[/name_u] and [name_u]Hayes[/name_u]. I think [name_u]Brooks[/name_u] succeeds in matching the short B name and repeating initials, while [name_u]Hayes[/name_u] is a softer, more modern name that is a nice alternative to [name_m]Hugo[/name_m]. I think you’ve got plenty of great choices!
I agree with previous suggestions of [name_u]Roscoe[/name_u] and [name_m]Gable[/name_m]. I like [name_u]Reid[/name_u] and [name_u]Jude[/name_u] from your initial list.
Briar and [name_u]Jem[/name_u] would be my choice.
