[name_m]Hi[/name_m]! [name_m]Just[/name_m] find out my twins are both boys. [name_f]Glad[/name_f] they’re healthy but man… my husband and I are both extremely picky on boy names.
[name_f][/name_f]
One will be [name_m]Luke[/name_m] for sure. [name_f]My[/name_f] husband likes [name_m]Leo[/name_m] and only [name_m]Leo[/name_m] for the other, but it’s just a little too trendy right now. Also, the middle name is [name_m]Hart[/name_m], and I just feel [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Hart[/name_m] is… a lot (like lion-hearted? I know that’s not what [name_m]Hart[/name_m] means with that spelling, but it bugs me.) Our daughter already has an L-name too and I think the alliteration will be too much. I’m not finding much just Googling. Looking for something not super popular but not too out there either and at least two syllables. [name_f]Any[/name_f] suggestions would be much appreciated.
[name_f][/name_f]
[name_m]Just[/name_m] to know my taste, here are some of my other top choice boy names that my husband has vetoed: [name_m]Eliot[/name_m], [name_m]Francis[/name_m], [name_m]Samson[/name_m], [name_m]Avi[/name_m], [name_m]Ronan[/name_m], [name_m]Miles[/name_m], [name_m]Isaac[/name_m]
I’d be inclined to use an L-name for this baby as well, though not strictly necessary. I wouldn’t normally suggest it, but your last two being twins feels like it makes a difference somehow.
[name_f][/name_f]
Along those lines, my first thought was [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m]. [name_m]Or[/name_m] maybe [name_m]Levi[/name_m], [name_m]Lincoln[/name_m], [name_m]Leon[/name_m], [name_m]Lane[/name_m], [name_m]Leland[/name_m], [name_m]Lawrence[/name_m], [name_m]Lev[/name_m], or [name_m]Lance[/name_m]?
I agree with @VEL[name_f][/name_f] If you already have one child with an L-name, and one of your twins will also have an L-name, I personally would either give the other twin an L-name as well [name_f][/name_f] or give both[name_f][/name_f] twins distinct initials (so neither is an L). Otherwise the balance can feel a little uneven.
[name_f][/name_f]
Some L name ideas: [name_m]Lachlan[/name_m], [name_m]Lawson[/name_m], [name_m]Landon[/name_m],
[name_f][/name_f]
However, if you’re completely set on [name_m]Luke[/name_m][name_f][/name_f] for one twin, then [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Jonah[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Julian[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Calvin[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Simon[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Bennett[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Silas[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Kieran[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Elias[/name_m] / [name_m]Elian[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Adrian[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Micah[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Jude[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]August[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Gabriel[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Hugo[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Toby[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Everett[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Asher[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Finn[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Ezra[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Max[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Sam[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Dean[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Reid[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Zane[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Felix[/name_m]
I think [name_m]Luke[/name_m] and [name_m]Leon[/name_m] sound great together, similar to [name_m]Leo[/name_m], four letters like [name_m]Luke[/name_m] as well.. otherwise what about [name_m]Evan[/name_m], [name_m]Liam[/name_m], [name_m]Ellis[/name_m], [name_m]Levi[/name_m] or [name_m]Teo[/name_m]
[name_m]Luke[/name_m] is a very handsome choice! [name_f][/name_f] I love [name_m]Leo[/name_m] and actually like [name_m]Leo[/name_m] [name_m]Hart[/name_m], probably because my nn for my nephew is Lionheart
[name_f][/name_f]
What a shame about Ronan—he’s so lovely with [name_m]Luke[/name_m], and [name_m]Ronan[/name_m] [name_m]Hart[/name_m] is a dreamy name!
