Twin girls I met

Yesterday, I met twin girls named [name]Bryce[/name] and [name]Ethan[/name]. Yes, GIRLS. [name]Just[/name] wondering what you thought about this…is it taking the ‘boys names on girls’ trend too far?

Definitely too far. Although I never even liked things like [name]Jordan[/name] or [name]Emerson[/name] for girls. Why choose boy names when all the girls names are so pretty?

:frowning: Yeah, definitely! I have heard [name]Bryce[/name] on a girl, but not [name]Ethan[/name]. [name]Even[/name] though [name]Evan[/name] and [name]Ethan[/name] are pretty similar, and I have heard [name]Evan[/name] on a girl, I can’t even imagine [name]Ethan[/name] on a little girl, and together, [name]Bryce[/name] and [name]Ethan[/name] are way too masculine for me.

I’m not a fan of boy names on girls (except if it’s a nn) in general, but this is definitely taking it too far :frowning:

I can definitely see a little girl named [name]Bryce[/name], I think it’s kind of cute. But [name]Ethan[/name] seems to be way to much of a stretch to me personally, since it’s so popular for boys right now.

Gosh that’s awful. And that’s coming from a girl with a usually male name ([name]Asa[/name]). [name]Ethan[/name] is SO masculine though. I just picture an all american boy. And [name]Bryce[/name] is a little better, but still very…blunt. Sigh.

That makes me sad. I have a [name]Bryce[/name] and [name]Ethan[/name] at the daycare and they are both boys. I strongly dislike both these names on girls.

I feel sad for those little girls. I hope they don’t grow up thinking their parents wanted sons.

[name]Bryce[/name] feels girly enough and [name]Bryce[/name] [name]Dallas[/name] [name]Howard[/name] (actress) was my first thought- [name]Ethan[/name] feels like a bit of a stretch…I hope she got a very femme mn!! I think some boy names are cute on girls- I considered [name]Micah[/name], [name]Asa[/name] & [name]Ira[/name] when I was pregnant with my baby girl!

Thumbs down to those names. Terrible.

Too far! Hopefully, they have better middles names, they can adopt one day…

I wonder if the parent’s wanted boys honestly, judging by what they named those poor girls they did. Leave the boys names to the boys!
