Twin name thoughts

I’ve always thought that having a set of twins where either their nicknames, or middle names are [name_m]Loch[/name_m] and Ness/[name_f]Nessie[/name_f] would be really cute, and a nice little nod towards my very close scottish roots. I don’t plan on calling them this as much as their real names, though I still like the idea. I was just wondering if anyone had any opinions/thoughts/suggestions on this, or even ideas of names to get [name_m]Loch[/name_m] and Ness/[name_f]Nessie[/name_f]. As of now, my favourites are just [name_m]Loch[/name_m] and [name_f]Nessa[/name_f]. I’ve imagined [name_m]Loch[/name_m] being the boy twin, and Ness being the girl, though I think they can both equally be used as unisex names. Thanks for your input.

I imagine most people would be opposed to this idea/think it’s far out there but I don’t see it being a big deal if you only use [name_m]Loch[/name_m] & Ness as their nicknames. I think the middle name thing would still get people going but like I said, if anyone said anything about you using [name_m]Loch[/name_m] & Ness as nicknames I’d say that’s entirely uncalled for. As long as it’s not a derogatory term I think nicknames shouldn’t be scrutinized as closely as the given name because they’re meant to be pet names anyways. Also, when I hear [name_m]Loch[/name_m] & Ness/[name_f]Nessie[/name_f] I automatically think [name_m]Loch[/name_m] is the boy twin & Ness is the girl, if that helps at all. Here are some suggestions for arriving at those nicknames:

[name_m]Lachlan[/name_m]
Locksley
Loxley
(Locksley [name_m]Archer[/name_m] or Loxley [name_m]Archer[/name_m] would make a cool heroic name imo, a nod to [name_u]Robin[/name_u] Hood!)
[name_m]Malachi[/name_m]

[name_f]Agnes[/name_f]
[name_f]Agnesa[/name_f]/[name_f]Agnessa[/name_f]
[name_f]Agnesina[/name_f]
[name_f]Agneska[/name_f]
[name_f]Aneska[/name_f]
[name_f]Anessa[/name_f]
Anessonia
[name_f]Ernesta[/name_f]
[name_f]Ganesa[/name_f]
[name_f]Genessa[/name_f]
[name_f]Genese[/name_f]
[name_u]Genesis[/name_u]
[name_f]Gweness[/name_f]
[name_f]Janessa[/name_f]
[name_f]Janeska[/name_f]
[name_f]Ines[/name_f]
[name_f]Nesima[/name_f]
[name_f]Nessima[/name_f]
[name_u]Nesta[/name_u]
[name_f]Vanesa[/name_f]
[name_f]Vanessa[/name_f]
[name_f]Ynes[/name_f]
[name_f]Inesa[/name_f]

I like:
Locksley & [name_f]Ines[/name_f]
Locksley & [name_f]Agnes[/name_f]
Locksley & [name_f]Inesa[/name_f]
Loxley & [name_f]Nesima[/name_f]
Loxley & [name_f]Ines[/name_f]
Loxley & [name_f]Agnes[/name_f]
Loxley & [name_f]Inesa[/name_f]

[name_m]Malachi[/name_m] & [name_f]Ines[/name_f]
[name_m]Malachi[/name_m] & [name_f]Agnes[/name_f]
[name_m]Malachi[/name_m] & [name_f]Inesa[/name_f]
[name_m]Malachi[/name_m] & [name_f]Nesima[/name_f]
[name_m]Malachi[/name_m] & [name_f]Vanesa[/name_f]
[name_m]Malachi[/name_m] & [name_f]Aneska[/name_f]

[name_m]Lachlan[/name_m] & [name_f]Agnes[/name_f]

I think grace_newgrace took care of the suggestions. As for my personal opinion on [name_m]Loch[/name_m] and Ness as nns, I don’t think it’s the worst thing you could do, but I do think it’s a little cheesy. [name_m]Just[/name_m] because you think it’s cute and amusing doesn’t mean your kids will. I’m sure it will get old at some point, and inevitably, someone is going to point it out if their names are as obvious as [name_m]Loch[/name_m] and [name_f]Nessa[/name_f]. I also don’t think of [name_m]Loch[/name_m] and Ness as unisex names, but that’s a rant for another time.
