I love the name [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] Laurenne but I can’t think of a twin name (girl). I dont find any other D names I like, so should I do a flower theme?
I’m not too much of a fan of common flower names like [name_f]Lily[/name_f] or [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. I want something equal to [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f].
My thoughts so far are [name_f]Jessamine[/name_f], [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] (I love [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] but I dont think it’s as strong of a name as [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]), [name_f]Viollette[/name_f] (I like the [name_m]French[/name_m] spelling to differentiate it since this name us so popular rn), and [name_f]Lotus[/name_f].
Is [name_f]Lotus[/name_f] weird? I kinda like it but it needs a very feminine middle name.
[name_f]Flower[/name_f] names:

[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] and [name_f]Calla[/name_f]
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] and [name_f]Heather[/name_f]
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] and [name_f]Iris[/name_f]
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] and [name_f]Lavender[/name_f]
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] and [name_f]Lilac[/name_f]
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] and [name_f]Zinnia[/name_f]
D names:
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] and [name_f]Dellen[/name_f]
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] and [name_f]Delores[/name_f]
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] and [name_f]Delyth[/name_f]
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] and [name_f]Diane[/name_f]

[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] and [name_f]Dinah[/name_f]
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] and [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] (might be too close)
I also really like [name_f]Jessamine[/name_f] with [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]
I really love [name_f]Lotus[/name_f]! It has a serene, beautiful, fresh feel.

[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] and [name_f]Fleur[/name_f]
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] and [name_f]Veronica[/name_f]
I was thinking about [name_f]Veronica[/name_f]! I think it’s a strong name and it’s also a plant but it’s not a name you immediately associate with a plant!
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] and [name_f]Zinnia[/name_f] - The names have the same number of syllables and same cadence with the -ia ending but are still very distinct as their own names. Plus, the flowers actually look similar and are equally beautiful!
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] and [name_f]Linnea[/name_f] - Different rhythm to the names but enough similarity to work well as a pair. Bonus: [name_f]Linnea[/name_f] also means “twinflower”!
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] and [name_f]Iris[/name_f] - There is something haunting and mysterious about both these names.
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] and [name_f]Delphine[/name_f] (plus it’s a flower!)
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] and [name_u]Damaris[/name_u]
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] and [name_u]Demeter[/name_u]/[name_f]Demetria[/name_f]
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] and [name_u]Dominique[/name_u]
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] and [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] (means laurel)
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] and [name_f]Dianthe[/name_f]
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] and [name_f]Davina[/name_f] (might be too close)
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] and [name_f]Violette[/name_f] are beautiful together. [name_f]Ivy[/name_f] is great too and works well with [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] in my opinion. I also like previous posters’ suggestions of [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] and [name_f]Iris[/name_f] with [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]!
I love the name [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f], and I can see why it’s difficult to find a twin name! [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] has this unique sense of delicacy, strength, and old world elegance, with a touch of tragedy.
I’m loving PPs’ suggestions of [name_f]Iris[/name_f], [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f], [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], [name_f]Elodie[/name_f], [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f], and [name_f]Linnea[/name_f]. Each one plays off [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] in a beautiful way. [name_f]Iris[/name_f] has the same sense of mystery and quiet strength. [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] has the grandness and drama of the Old South. [name_f]Pearl[/name_f] has the delicate vintage vibe, but it’s single syllable makes for a strong sound that stands up well to [name_f]Dahlia[/name_f]'s syllables. [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] has the same rhythm and shares the key sounds of L, D, and long E. [name_f]Linnea[/name_f] has the nature connection, the same number of syllables, and a similar ending. [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] has the same timeless, old world feeling, the whiff of tragedy, and the -lia ending. You have a lot of excellent choices here!
