Twin sisters to Elowen

Started thinking a year ago about a sister name for Elowen and now am due in a few weeks with twin girls and still struggling! I think we’re pretty set on one being Philippa (Pippa) but can’t decide between Felicity and Ophelia. Please help!

  • Felicity
  • Ophelia

Gosh this is hard but I think [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] is the right balance of elegance of the other two! A beautiful trio of names.

I edited your poll so it works. You had an extra [ /details ] at the beginning of your poll which kept it from functioning.

All delightful names! :sparkles: Elowen and Ophelia seem to go better together (both ethereal) but Philippa and Felicity seem more likely as “classic” names.

But if Philippa is the certain choice, and sorry to be that person, I possibly wouldn’t pick either Felicity or Ophelia as a twin sister to Philippa (Pippa). To me, Philippa is a little too close to both Felicity & Ophelia.

Would pick Ophelia if pushed because of the different starting letter (and I prefer it to Felicity) but they’re very similar names. And if you use nn Phia or Opie that’s close to Pippa, and if you use Ellie, we’re in Elowen territory. Felicity also presents very close nicknames to the two other girls’. So I personally would probably pick a different name with Philippa but again, Ophelia if not other options.

Between [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] and [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f], I have a preference for [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]. I adore its meaning, its melodious sound, and the uplifting energy it radiates. However, I must admit that both [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] and [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] are quite similar to [name_f]Philippa[/name_f] in sound. For twin girls, I would lean toward names that feel more distinct to ensure each has her own unique identity.

Thank you!

I like both, but with Phillipa, I think Ophelia works slightly better.

Then youve got options if nicknames Lia, Opal, Eli!
