Hello,
I posted a couple of months ago and have changed some of the names we’re considering for one of our twin girls. Our toddler son is [name_m]Callum[/name_m] and one of the twins will be [name_f]Clara[/name_f]. The other names we’re considering are:
[name_f]Vera[/name_f] (DH and I both love this one)
[name_f]Eve[/name_f]
[name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
[name_f]Elise[/name_f]
[name_f]Bridget[/name_f]
[name_f]Susannah[/name_f]
[name_f]Leah[/name_f]
[name_f]Valerie[/name_f]
[name_f]Katherine[/name_f]
[name_f]Iris[/name_f]
[name_f]Anna[/name_f]
Family names: [name_f]Isabella[/name_f], [name_f]Mary[/name_f], [name_f]Lillian[/name_f], [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]
Any input /suggestions are appreciated! We’d prefer to avoid extremely popular names, and not all ‘C’ names. Our last name is two syllables and starts with a ‘T’.
My favorites from this list are [name_f]Katherine[/name_f], [name_f]Anna[/name_f], [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] and [name_f]Bridget[/name_f]. Since [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] is the only name that doesn’t share a beginning or ending sound with [name_f]Clara[/name_f], that would get my vote.
[name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Bridget[/name_f]
You have so many lovely choices on your list! My favorite is probably [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Elise[/name_f], closely followed by [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Mary[/name_f]. You have some simply stunning combos.
[name_f]Elise[/name_f] is my favorite! It’s my daughters middle name and I love it so much. I haven’t met any other little girls named [name_f]Elise[/name_f], either, so it’s definitely not super common. And it goes beautifully with [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_m]Callum[/name_m].
[name_f]Vera[/name_f] is also very lovely. It’s one of my favorites. I love the old fashioned charm. You can’t go wrong with either choice!
My favorites would be [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Elise[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] and [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f]. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Mary[/name_f] would be lovely combos, same with [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] and [name_f]Elise[/name_f] [name_f]Katherine[/name_f]. The only one I don’t love with [name_f]Clara[/name_f] is [name_f]Vera[/name_f]. While its beautiful, its very close in sound.
You have many lovely choices. I like [name_f]Vera[/name_f] too but the ending is a little too close to [name_f]Clara[/name_f] for my taste. I think a two-syllable option might be nice, although I do like the options of [name_f]Eve[/name_f] and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] quite a bit. I think my favorite for you is [name_f]Anna[/name_f] followed by [name_f]Bridget[/name_f].
You seem to love [name_f]Vera[/name_f] the most: however, I think it sounds quite close to [name_f]Clara[/name_f], and this might incite confusion. It’s a lovely name, though! I don’t think you could go wrong with any name from your list, but my favorites are [name_f]Eve[/name_f], [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], [name_f]Iris[/name_f] and [name_f]Anna[/name_f].
My faves are [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], [name_f]Clara[/name_f] and [name_f]Susannah[/name_f], but they have the same ending. [name_f]Clara[/name_f] just feels clunky either, to me. [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] and [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] for twins? Beautiful and they flow well…
I would avoid [name_f]Vera[/name_f] since it rhymes with [name_f]Clara[/name_f], unless you’d be calling [name_f]Clara[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] or would be willing to use [name_f]Claire[/name_f] instead of [name_f]Clara[/name_f].
I like [name_f]Eve[/name_f], [name_f]Juliet[/name_f], [name_f]Elise[/name_f], and [name_f]Valerie[/name_f] from your list.
