I’m going to start trying to have a baby soon!
As a name nerd I’m of course already trying to prepare for all possible outcomes.
[name_f]My[/name_f] top boy name is [name_u]River[/name_u]. (River Leo)
Trying to decide on my twin names.
I love [name_u]Kieran[/name_u] and [name_u]Declan[/name_u] together…and [name_u]River[/name_u] and [name_u]Holden[/name_u].
[name_u]Declan[/name_u] and [name_u]Kieran[/name_u] seem perfect together, but I’m not sure about [name_u]River[/name_u] and [name_u]Holden[/name_u]?? What do you guys think??
Well, if I had to choose from the pairings, I would actually go for [name_u]River[/name_u] and [name_u]Holden[/name_u] because they have more distinct sounds. If I can mix and match, I think [name_u]Declan[/name_u] and [name_u]River[/name_u] would me amazing! ([name_u]Or[/name_u] even [name_u]Kieran[/name_u] and [name_u]River[/name_u]!)
I’m torn because I only really like one name in each proposed set. I suppose going by the sum of their parts I would choose [name_u]River[/name_u] and [name_u]Holden[/name_u].
If I could choose any combination I would cast my vote for [name_u]River[/name_u] and [name_u]Declan[/name_u].
I also like [name_u]Declan[/name_u] and [name_u]River[/name_u] together the most, or [name_u]Kieran[/name_u] and [name_u]River[/name_u]. I like the options with different sounding endings.
In a perfect world, [name_u]River[/name_u] and [name_u]Kieran[/name_u]. Both names on my shortist list. If that weren’t a possibility, [name_u]River[/name_u] and [name_u]Holden[/name_u] I guess.
I love [name_u]River[/name_u] and [name_u]Holden[/name_u] together! More than [name_u]Declan[/name_u] and [name_u]Kieran[/name_u], actually — as @may.rose said, I like that R and H have more distinct sounds.
They feel cohesive in terms of vibe (smart, cool, laid back, artistic), with similar length and popularity level but individual sounds. That makes for perfect twin names in my book!
River [name_m]Leo[/name_m] & [name_u]Holden[/name_u] [name_u]Finn[/name_u] and [name_u]Kieran[/name_u] and [name_u]Declan[/name_u] are both good together
I’m not a huge fan of [name_u]Holden[/name_u], but only because it makes me think of the car brand… It’s actually a fine name and pairs well with [name_u]River[/name_u].
I LOVE all the other names, and tbh think any pairing would work well.
I like [name_u]River[/name_u] and [name_u]Declan[/name_u] together, but if that’s not an option I’ll say [name_u]River[/name_u] & [name_u]Holden[/name_u]. Nothing against [name_u]Kieran[/name_u], but it feels dated compared to the others.
My actual pick would be [name_u]Declan[/name_u] and [name_u]Holden[/name_u] together, however if [name_u]River[/name_u] is your favorite, I would go with [name_u]River[/name_u] and [name_u]Declan[/name_u]. [name_u]River[/name_u] and [name_u]Holden[/name_u] are nice as well.
Declan and [name_u]Kieran[/name_u] are too similar to my ear, so that is the only combo I don’t love.
Absolutely love [name_u]River[/name_u] [name_m]Leo[/name_m] & [name_u]Holden[/name_u] [name_u]Finn[/name_u] such a sweet combination feels very outdoorsy and fresh.
But I do like the suggestion of [name_u]Declan[/name_u] & [name_u]River[/name_u] I think that sounds really handsome and distinctive. [name_u]Declan[/name_u] is a great choice I also think [name_u]Declan[/name_u] [name_u]Finn[/name_u] could work so you wouldn’t loose your [name_u]Finn[/name_u] as a middle name.

I get an outdoorsy vibe from [name_u]River[/name_u]/Holden combo also! But [name_u]Declan[/name_u]/River is growing on me a lot. Yes, I think [name_u]Declan[/name_u] [name_u]Finn[/name_u] works! Has a lot of real Irish feel. Thanks for your feedback
