Two girls, both with names starting with vowels?

I am expecting my second child in [name]March[/name] and I don’t yet know what we’re having, but I’m still considering names. My daughter’s name is [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Lynne[/name] and, if the second baby is a girl, I’m liking [name]Elsa[/name] [name]Gwendolyn[/name] (we choose family names as middles). But…I’m worried about the “[name]Amelia[/name] and [name]Elsa[/name]” phrase that will undoubtedly be repeated for the rest of their lives when talking about them as sisters. [name]Do[/name] the two vowels seem difficult to say? Should I find something with a consonant at the beginning?

Thanks for any advice

I don’t think it’s a problem. My brother is named [name]Andrew[/name] and I am [name]Elizabeth[/name], and we never experienced had issues with people being able to say our names. You’ve chosen some very pretty names.

[name]Elsa[/name] [name]Gwendolyn[/name] is gorgeous!! I think [name]Amelia[/name] and [name]Elsa[/name] sound great together. If you love the name, I really wouldn’t worry about the two names running together; I just don’t think it will be a problem.

[name]Love[/name] [name]Elsa[/name]! I think it is a good fit with [name]Amelia[/name]. It doesn’t sound too matchy and the names compliment each other well.

[name]Elsa[/name] [name]Gwendolen[/name]! What a great name! I love it! And I think it goes very well with [name]Amelia[/name]. [name]Lovely[/name]. [name]Just[/name] lovely.

Thank you everyone for the very kind feedback–I feel much better about my girl’s name choice

Stick with [name]Elsa[/name] Gewndolyn! It’s such a lovely name and I actually think [name]Amelia[/name] and [name]Elsa[/name] fit together well. Does [name]Amelia[/name] go by a nickname? [name]Do[/name] you intend to use a nick name for [name]Elsa[/name]?

Keep [name]Elsa[/name] [name]Gwendolyn[/name]!! It is gorgeous, and it sounds lovely with [name]Amelia[/name]!! I don’t think the beginning vowels matter at all.

I don’t think [name]Amelia[/name] and [name]Elsa[/name] are problematic at all - they are so cute together! I’m more bothered by the fact that [name]Amelia[/name] [name]Lynne[/name] and [name]Elsa[/name] [name]Gwendolyn[/name] both have “lyn” in them, but considering they’re family names, it’s totally understandable. If it were me, however, I might switch the spelling to [name]Elsa[/name] [name]Gwendolen[/name], just to separate things a bit more…

Really nice choices!
