Two similar sounding names for sibilings

Are [name_m]Arlo[/name_m] and [name_f]Alora[/name_f] for siblings too close that would be absolutely not doable?

I personally find them too similar. Especially because the letters are swapped, I think I would find myself saying “Arlora.” Maybe if there were other siblings inbetween the similarity wouldn’t be so obvious.

It really depends on your style! I like similarities that tie siblings together :gift_heart: I think the most important thing to make names distinct is have the names end with different sounds. I think Arlo and Alora are adorable, but it’s up to you in the end. They give me twin vibes bc of their similarities.

Lori would be a cute nickname for Alora to make the names sound more distinct in day to day life!

I personally think so. I would maybe go with [name_m]Alwyn[/name_m] as it’s a different vowel? or [name_m]Arlo[/name_m] & [name_f]Alice[/name_f]?

I think they are much too similar, and I find them hard to say out loud together. What about [name_f]Annora[/name_f], [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], [name_f]Liora[/name_f] with [name_m]Arlo[/name_m]?

They are a bit too similar for me, but I think it could work - I’ve heard closer / more matchy before
