I’m pretty sure it’s supposed to be pronounced Tih-balt/Tih-bult. Only 2 syllables, not three. At least that’s what I learned in the college [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m] Class I took (I have an English minor).
Prouncing it “tee” or “tie” is the “American” thing to do, it’s wrong. [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t give your child a name you intend to say wrong. If you plan on using it, pronounce it correctly.
