I tried to list names that were distinctly Ukrainian, rather than very international names like [name_f]Anna[/name_f]. Most of these are also used in another language, however (like Russian or Bulgarian). Most can also be transcribed in several ways. I went with the most common transcriptions - so while I’d be more likely to transcribe, say, Емілія as [name_f]Emilia[/name_f], I went with the less international [name_f]Emiliya[/name_f].

[name_f]Alla[/name_f]
Bohuslava
[name_f]Dariya[/name_f]
[name_f]Emiliya[/name_f]
Ganna
Halyna
[name_f]Ivanna[/name_f]
Juliya
Kalyna
[name_f]Lesya[/name_f]
[name_f]Melaniya[/name_f]
Nadiia
[name_f]Olha[/name_f]
[name_f]Polina[/name_f]
[name_f]Ruslana[/name_f]
[name_f]Solomiya[/name_f]
Tetiana
[name_f]Uliana[/name_f]
[name_f]Vira[/name_f]
Wasylyna
[name_f]Yelysaveta[/name_f]
Zoriana

[name_f]My[/name_f] personal favourites are Kateryna (I believe this spelling is more strictly Ukrainian) and [name_f]Olesya[/name_f]! I also know a [name_f]Daryna[/name_f] ‘Dasha’, a [name_f]Yuliya[/name_f] and a Bohdana from Ukraine.

such pretty names!
I’ve never heard of some of them thank you!

[name_f]Katerina[/name_f] can also be transliterated as Kateryna

And I think [name_m]Taras[/name_m] is another common Ukrainian name

I think Veselka is one!

I have a friend from Ukraine and her name is [name_f]Margarita[/name_f] but goes by [name_f]Rita[/name_f] ^^
