Assuming conventional refers to [name_f]Evie[/name_f] and [name_u]Angie[/name_u], [name_u]Vannie[/name_u] / Janny and [name_f]Lina[/name_f] come to mind. I like [name_f]Jenny[/name_f] too!

It’s hard to say. Parents can have their own nicknames for kids, but they don’t have any say over nicknames others give them.

[name_f]Ava[/name_f] isn’t quite working for me, maybe because its so close to [name_f]Eva[/name_f] which is the more obvious option? [name_u]Or[/name_u] because there isn’t a long A sound in the name to get the beginning of [name_f]Ava[/name_f] from? Not sure.

my daughter’s name is evangeline and she usually goes by eva or eve but my father calls her angel or angela which i actual love!
