i’m back with another one! i fell off of making these for a while bc the 1970s names really weren’t my jam and they felt a lot less strange and unique and i lost the excitement that got me started on this project. but!! the 80s are a fun time and in the spirit of learning and appreciating name trends, i’m back baby. lots of these names will not seem as weird as the super old ones but they’re still fun and i hope you guys still enjoy!
if you haven’t seen, i’ve also done many other decades! i may go back and do sequels to some of the older ones some time soon so keep an eye out for that. so far we’ve got the 1900s, the 1910s, the 1920s, the 1930s, the 1940s, the 1950s, the 1960s, also the 1960s (totally an accident), and finally the 1970s!

the masculine names were so fun this time around. they continue to not really be my taste but it’s still always so much fun to learn the trends and to pick up on history through the changes in name popularity! lots of weird misspellings of higher popularity names in these more recent decades. these are always fun to make and i hope you guys still find them fun to play!
