when i was little, my mom had a baby book on her shelves that i used to steal. i used it for everything you can imagine- naming video game characters, naming people in the stories i wrote, naming myself in games i played with my siblings. now i’ve officially stolen the baby book from my mom and, though it’s falling apart, i still have it on my shelves! it has so many names in it that i’ve never heard anywhere else so i wanted to share them with you guys here!
there’s quite a paragraph of names for each family member so ive hidden them all to make it a bit easier to read!

you may notice the masculine names end in “w”; over the years the back cover and the last few pages have fallen off rip but it’s ok because for some reason it was way easier to fill in masculine names than feminine ones! i’ll go back in and add some more feminine names at some point
a note on these names and their so-called uniqueness
i’m certain there will be people who have heard of these names before. i am in my 20s, i live in america, and though i have a multicultural extended family, i grew up only speaking english. if your life experience is different these names may not be as unfamiliar to you as they are to me! these are just names i either learned of from this book, rarely hear mentioned outside of it, or have never heard mentioned outside of it. lots of them are simply of a language of origin that isn’t often used where i live, or are a feminization/masculinization of a name that isn’t often heard! they are unique to me and i think the way naming trends and use and popularity differ is really cool!
if anyone has any questions about the information the book lists for any names please let me know! i can’t guarantee they’re correct of course but more info may help if you wanna google any and find out about them (: have fun!!
