It seems as if all of my pregnant friends gave birth last night.
Here are the names of the new babies of Facebook friends. All but one baby was born in the U.S. – [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] was born overseas. I hyphenated the middle names of the middle names I know, just so these new babes don’t already have a huge digital profile.
A baby boy named Daschle
A baby girl named [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] J-a-n-e
A baby girl named [name_f]Zipporah[/name_f] R-u-b-y
A baby girl named [name_f]Coraline[/name_f] E-l-i-z-a-b-e-t-h
A baby boy named [name_m]Braxton[/name_m] L-e-v-i
A baby boy named [name_m]Andrew[/name_m] T-h-o-m-a-s
A baby boy named [name_m]Israel[/name_m] A-l-i-s-t-a-i-r
What do you think? [name_f]Do[/name_f] these names get cheers or jeers? Which is your favorite? I love the variety! But [name_f]Coraline[/name_f] is my favorite.
I like [name_f]Zipporah[/name_f], and [name_m]Alistair[/name_m] is a great middle; would have been nice as a first as well. I don’t understand the appeal of [name_m]Braxton[/name_m].
Another Zipporah R-u-b-y fan here. That is one awesome combo. Is your friend a name nerd? Sophia and Caroline are nice names, just a little too common for me. I assume Daschle is pronounced like Dashiell, which I do like. I don’t like the Daschle spelling though. I don’t like Braxton. I just don’t get the appeal. I know a lot of people who watch the Braxton reality show so it’s almost like naming your kid Kardashian to me. Andrew Thomas isn’t my style, but its a nice sturdy name that will probably serve the little boy well in life. I’m not sure if I like it, but I find Isreal Alistair really interesting.
