Sounds serious to me. Not totally sure, though. 1 or 2 from each list aren’t bad, but the majority make me think “Huh! What were they thinking!?!”!!

What about the parents that named their child Hashtag? I can’t remember if it was a boy or girl, but seriously why would you do that to your child!

I don’t know if those who compiled this list saw Hashtag or no. I saw that one, as well, though. I believe Hashtag was a girl. Awful, awful name, too, though!

I wonder if Goodluck was born to Nigerian parents? The current president of Nigeria is named Goodluck [name]Jonathan[/name].

Some of these seem like variants of names from other languages - [name]Shimon[/name], Villiam, maybe Devid?

It’s interesting to try to guess the pop culture influence too - I wonder if Rilo’s parents are fans of the band Rilo [name]Kiley[/name]? If Leeloo’s parents really like The Fifth Element? If [name]Bond[/name]'s parents want him to grow up to be like [name]James[/name] [name]Bond[/name]?

I’ll admit, I kind of love [name]Tigerlily[/name], but it’s firmly a guilty pleasure for me.
