I love names that are whimsical, spunky, melodic enchanting, and full of personality, and tried to make a list of names that feel sparkly & special to me. For me, they feel either a bit too clunky, a bit too classic, a bit too modern/popular, or just not really whimsical? But I do think many of them could work in the middle spot and feel ‘more’ in tune with the vibe when next to one of the others, if that makes any sense whatsoever.

And [name_m]Darcy[/name_m] also sticks out a little for me.

[name_f]My[/name_f] mother’s friend is named [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f], and she happens to be a witch, so as a little girl I associated her name with magical things and always thought it was so pretty! [name_f]Wanda[/name_f] to me leans whimsical because it makes me think of wands & magic and [name_m]Cosmo[/name_m] & [name_f]Wanda[/name_f] from Fairly Oddparents, but I can definitely see how it also leans 50s diner once you pointed it out! [name_f][/name_f] I agree with you about [name_f]Louise[/name_f], [name_f]Fiona[/name_f], & [name_f]Velma[/name_f] having a different vibe than the rest of the names, and definitely agree that [name_f]Ursula[/name_f] is hard to carry (it’s a gp for me but so pretty).

Some names I don’t think fit very well, either because the name isn’t as whimsical as the others, feels too “rough-sounding,” or feels too common are Eartha, Sabrina, Wanda, Louise, Perla, Birdie, Vanessa, and Imogen.
