Urgent help with Girl name ending in -lyn

I am looking for a girl name that ends in -lyn. All the girls on my husband’s side end with -lyn, so have to stick to that theme. I have two daughters, [name_f]Ashlyn[/name_f] and [name_f]Emmalyn[/name_f]. But, my nieces are MaKailyn,[name_u]Brooklyn[/name_u], [name_f]Caralyn[/name_f], [name_f]Addalyn[/name_f]. So, clearly, those are off limits. I don’t want anything too common, but I’m open to any suggestions! I thought I would have more time, but my water broke at 27 weeks and now we need a decision quickly.

I’m thinking Hollyn, but I’m not entirely sold on it and I want to [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] my child’s name. Give me all of your ideas! I will take all the options you can give me!

Hollyn is my favorite. As for [name_u]Berry[/name_u] suggestions, I’m seconding [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u], [name_f]Magdalyn[/name_f], and [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f].

Can it be a short name? I love the name [name_u]Bryn[/name_u], and it’s not too matchy/cutesy will all the other -lyns in your family.

I like [name_f]Gwendolyn[/name_f] best, but she’ll inevitably be called [name_f]Gwen[/name_f]. If you want a name where the -lyn will be used, I’d suggest [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] or [name_f]Carolyn[/name_f].

I don’t usually care for made-up names, but I love [name_u]Holland[/name_u], so Hollyn is actually pretty cool. Otherwise, I think [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] is a great name, and it isn’t too common to fit right in with [name_f]Ashlyn[/name_f] and [name_f]Emmalyn[/name_f]. (Or maybe you’re the sort of person who would prefer the spelling [name_f]Josslyn[/name_f]?)

From pps I like [name_f]Jocelyn[/name_f] and [name_f]Roselyn[/name_f]. I’ll also suggest [name_f]Jaclyn[/name_f] and [name_m]Kellyn[/name_m]. I do like Hollyn and that type of name isn’t usually my style.

Personally, although [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u] is darling, if you pronounce it Ev-uh-lyn it sounds dangerously close to [name_f]Emmalyn[/name_f]. I would like to suggest:

I am considering Reeslyn for my baby girl, but have gotten mixed reviews because it sounds “made up”. I still like it though! Another name I like is [name_f]Kalyn[/name_f] (pronounced [name_u]KAY[/name_u]-[name_u]Lyn[/name_u])…I have a friend named that and I think it’s beautiful!
