We just found out we are having boy #3! Our other sons are [name]Dash[/name] and [name]Mack[/name]. The name that we keep on coming back to and both agree on is [name]Van[/name]? What do you think?? Does it go okay with our other boys?? Any other suggestions that might work - my criteria is easy to say and spell and uncommon but made up or too crazy. Thanks!!

I think of [name]Van[/name] from the tv show [name]Reba[/name], but I actually think it’s a cute name. I see previous poster’s point about the possible automobile theme, but maybe that would be a nice relationship between all of them? I think [name]Van[/name] is the only name that would sound like a car reference just on it’s own, the other two only seem that way when they are all 3 put together. I personally think of [name]Reba[/name]'s [name]Van[/name] also, and I loved him. I thought he was a sweet and fun character. I like the name!
thanks everyone!! I got the name [name]Van[/name] from the [name]Reba[/name] show…i loved that character and i can totally picture [name]Van[/name] as a little kid, teenager, adult and grandpa! I like a lot of the suggestions and most have been on and off my list for awhile…[name]Ace[/name], [name]Cruz[/name], [name]Knox[/name], [name]Finn[/name], [name]Beck[/name]. The other name i really like is [name]Bridger[/name] nn [name]Brigg[/name]…my husband isn’t crazy about it and it is a little bit more complicated than the other names i like. hmmm…why is naming so hard!

[name]Van[/name] is not my style. I can’t get over the big clumpy vehicle. I think [name]Vaughn[/name] or [name]Von[/name] would be a better choice.
I don’t think [name]Jesse[/name] is too common, especially today. I don’t know any babies named [name]Jesse[/name]. You could keep it short like the rest and just go with [name]Jess[/name]?
I like [name]Van[/name], I was considering it too, but with our last name it flowed together making the name sound like one long last name.
I like [name]Van[/name]! I think it’s handsome and charming and reminds me of [name]Van[/name] from [name]Reba[/name]. For that reason I also picture someone from the South. In no way do I think minivan.

My husband always jokes (i think he’s joking) that he wants to name our son [name]Van[/name] Hel with his middle name Singh so he’d be [name]Van[/name] Helsing.
While i draw the line at [name]Van[/name] Helsing I like just [name]Van[/name] because of my own dutch heritage. I don’t think of the vehicle first off just the Dutch surname.
I think it fits perfectly with your other 2 boys and seems you and your husband have a similar name style which is great!
I know a little boy named [name]Von[/name], and I like that much better than [name]Van[/name].
Although I am half Dutch, as an American the name Van says to me first either surfer shoes or big car.
