I wouldn’t use just [name_f]Ann[/name_f] in the middle since your first dd middle name is [name_u]Juli[/name_u]anna it’s like this dd didn’t get her own middle name. I love the idea of [name_f]Susanne[/name_f] because then both of their names have [name_f]Ann[/name_f] in them but they are unique to one another.
[name_f]Mariel[/name_f] is the only name on your list that I would describe as sweet and whimsical.
[name_f]Marilee[/name_f] sounds too much like the word [name_f]Merrily[/name_f] for me.
I like both [name_f]Maren[/name_f] [name_f]Susanne[/name_f] and [name_u]Marian[/name_u] [name_f]Susanne[/name_f] but they sound a bit heavy/serious with [name_f]Camille[/name_f].
What about using the french version of [name_f]Mary[/name_f], [name_f]Marie[/name_f].
[name_f]Camille[/name_f] [name_f]Julianna[/name_f] and [name_f]Anne[/name_f]-[name_f]Marie[/name_f] ???
[name_f]Camille[/name_f] [name_f]Julianna[/name_f] and [name_f]Marielle[/name_f] [name_f]Susanne[/name_f](I prefer this spelling to [name_f]Mariel[/name_f])
[name_f]Camille[/name_f] [name_f]Julianna[/name_f] and [name_f]Maribel[/name_f] [name_f]Susanna[/name_f] (or [name_f]Maribelle[/name_f])
[name_f]Camille[/name_f] [name_f]Julianna[/name_f] and [name_f]Mariella[/name_f] [name_f]Susanne[/name_f]
I second the suggestions of [name_f]Marianne[/name_f] and [name_f]Annemarie[/name_f]/[name_f]Anne[/name_f]-[name_f]Marie[/name_f]! Both are lovely name that I think go very well with [name_f]Camille[/name_f].
For the fn I like [name_u]Marian[/name_u], [name_f]Maren[/name_f], and [name_f]Mariel[/name_f], in that order. I think [name_f]Merilee[/name_f] sounds too similar to [name_f]Camille[/name_f].
I’ve always been fond of the name [name_f]Mara[/name_f] as well.
For the mn, [name_f]Susanna[/name_f], [name_f]Suzanne[/name_f] (or even [name_f]Suzette[/name_f] if you can go there) all sound sweet together.
I like [name_f]Marielle[/name_f] [name_f]Susanne[/name_f], [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] [name_f]Marie[/name_f], [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] [name_f]Marin[/name_f], and [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] [name_f]Mary[/name_f]. [name_f]Maren[/name_f] [name_f]Susanne[/name_f] is nice too.
I also really like the suggestion of [name_f]Maribel[/name_f] and [name_f]Mara[/name_f].
Of the ones you suggest, the only one I like is [name_f]Maren[/name_f]. And [name_f]Maren[/name_f] [name_f]Susanne[/name_f] is nice.
However, I think that [name_f]Marianne[/name_f], [name_f]Maura[/name_f], [name_f]Mairead[/name_f] and just [name_f]Mary[/name_f] are so beautiful, but maybe those suggestions are not your cup of tea
I love just [name_f]Mary[/name_f] as a middle name - [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f] [name_f]Mary[/name_f] would be my top pick. [name_u]Marian[/name_u] and [name_f]Marianne[/name_f] are lovely names and a great way to honour both [name_f]Mary[/name_f] and [name_f]Susanne[/name_f]. In a similar vein, [name_f]Annamaria[/name_f] is a family name for me that I think is gorgeous and would easily honour both names. I agree with pp about steering clear of just [name_f]Ann[/name_f] as a middle considering your daughter’s middle name is [name_f]Julianna[/name_f].
[name_f]Marianna[/name_f] (this one gets you [name_f]Mary[/name_f] and [name_f]Ann[/name_f])
[name_f]Malia[/name_f]
[name_f]Mara[/name_f]
[name_f]Maria[/name_f]
[name_f]Marie[/name_f]
[name_f]Malia[/name_f]
[name_f]Moira[/name_f]
My favorite from your list is [name_f]Miriam[/name_f], but I’d pair it with [name_f]Susanne[/name_f] rather than [name_f]Ann[/name_f].
Some of my favorite names are [name_f]Mary[/name_f] versions. Here’s some I didn’t notice in previous posts:
[name_f]Marigold[/name_f]
[name_u]Meredith[/name_u]
[name_f]Mae[/name_f]
I also wanted to second [name_f]Moira[/name_f], [name_f]Marilyn[/name_f] and [name_u]Marion[/name_u] and [name_f]Miriam[/name_f].
It’s so nice that the name you want to honour has so many options.
Also much love for [name_f]Annelise[/name_f]. I like [name_f]Annelise[/name_f] [name_f]Joy[/name_f].
I love both [name_f]Miriam[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f] and [name_f]Maren[/name_f] [name_f]Susanne[/name_f] (or [name_f]Maren[/name_f] [name_f]Susanna[/name_f])
What about the name [name_f]Marietta[/name_f]? I came across this name last year sometime and instantly thought it could work to honor my [name_f]MIL[/name_f], [name_f]Mary[/name_f]. [name_f]Marietta[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f] sounds beautiful too!
I think this idea’s already been mentioned, but I think [name_f]Mariana[/name_f] would be fantastic! It’s a [name_f]Mary[/name_f] variant that gets [name_f]Ann[/name_f] in there, too, and it’s so fresh and exotic, imo! I knew a little [name_f]Mariana[/name_f] a couple summers ago, and she was a doll. I think the suggestion of [name_f]Annemarie[/name_f] is really great, too.
Of your options, I like [name_f]Maren[/name_f], [name_f]Anneliese[/name_f], and [name_f]Miriam[/name_f] best, probably in that order.
I think [name_f]Maren[/name_f], [name_f]Marianne[/name_f], [name_f]Mariana[/name_f] and [name_f]Annmarie[/name_f] are beautiful.
[name_f]Maren[/name_f] [name_f]Susanna/name_f
[name_f]Marianne[/name_f] ____
[name_f]Mariana[/name_f] [name_f]Suzanne[/name_f] (My name is [name_f]Diana[/name_f]…wonder if that would be too close?)
[name_f]Annmarie[/name_f] ____
I really, really like [name_f]Manon[/name_f]…too bad a lot of people would probably butcher the pronunciation.
Keep the suggestions coming. I have just over a week to go! Thank you so, so much.
I have a sister whose middle name is [name_f]Mariana[/name_f] and we pronounce it mah-ree-ah-na. With that pronunciation I don’t think it would be too close to [name_f]Diana[/name_f].
