I mean…I’m not sure if there are any variants of Charlotte…Sharlotte? [name_m]Charlot[/name_m]? Idk…for my nn, there’s [name_u]Charley[/name_u] (which I don’t mind, but it does remind me of a horse for some reason :sweat_smile:) and [name_f]Charlee[/name_f] (too modern feeling)

I have a love/hate relationship with [name_f]Ann[/name_f], [name_u]Anne[/name_u], [name_f]Anna[/name_f], and Annie… they’re not for me (at all) but I don’t despise them.

[name_f]Hanna[/name_f] as a spelling, however, can leave my presence forever. I think I have an irrational hatred of it :sweat_smile:

Used to love Caroline, but now I dislike both her and Carolyn bc of a bad association with a Carolyn, lol. Carol is a bit too old-ladyish lol, and Charla is…fine ig. :sweat_smile:

oh I have strong opinions about other spellings of [name_u]Abby[/name_u]. all fueled from people who assumed they knew how to spell my name better than me…

S tier- [name_u]Abby[/name_u]

C tier- [name_u]Abbey[/name_u], [name_u]Abbie[/name_u]
D tier- anything else
F tier/hell tier- [name_u]Abi[/name_u]

The worst I’ve seen was Allyssah. I also dislike [name_f]Alysa[/name_f], [name_f]Allysa[/name_f], [name_f]Alissa[/name_f] and [name_f]Alyssah[/name_f].

I knew an icky “mean girl” in high school who spelt her name this way. I laughed to see this :sweat_smile:

As for my name, I like Hazelle (as it’s the spelling used in The Hunger Games) well enough.

There aren’t many variations of my name other than [name_f]Heloise[/name_f], which I don’t like as much. I like [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] as a nickname though.

I’ve just come back to read these and have realized I was meant to comment a variation I didn’t like. Well… I don’t think there are enough variations for me to find one (that’s actually used) that I don’t like!

I don’t like [name_f]Lucia[/name_f] (also, loo-see-uh > loo-chee-uh > loo-shuh), [name_f]Lucinda[/name_f], [name_m]Lucian[/name_m] and [name_f]Lucienne[/name_f]. I don’t really like the [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] spelling either.

I don’t like [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] for me. It’s cool for others.

Actually, looking at the variations of [name_f]Grace[/name_f], I’m not sure on Graça
