Not pregnant just collecting. Im writing a novel about two families and Im stuck with names. If you have any suggestions or thoughts please do share
[name_f][/name_f]
Firstly, what are your thoughts on [name_f]Vera[/name_f], [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] and [name_f]Brenna[/name_f]? Which of the names goes with a brother named [name_m]Rhett[/name_m]? There are 3 siblings of [name_m]Irish[/name_m] roots living in the US: [name_m]Rhett[/name_m] [name_m]Montgomery[/name_m] [name_m]Hayes[/name_m] and two sisters possibly [name_f]Vera[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] [name_m]Hayes[/name_m] and [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] [name_f]Kathleen[/name_f] [name_m]Hayes[/name_m].
[name_f][/name_f]
Im currently torn between [name_f]Vera[/name_f], [name_f]Brenna[/name_f] and [name_f]Willa[/name_f] for one of the sisters. Which one works best. If you have any suggestions for Rhett’s sisters please share.
[name_f][/name_f]
Secondly, the [name_m]Hamilton[/name_m] siblings. There are [name_f]Summer[/name_f] [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_m]Hamilton[/name_m], [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] [name_m]Hamilton[/name_m] or [name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Isabella[/name_f] [name_m]Hamilton[/name_m] and two brothers. Could you suggest me some names for the boys?
I think [name_f]Vera[/name_f] works best [name_f][/name_f]- a hint of vintage, but fresh enough it doesn’t feel out of place? [name_m]Rhett[/name_m], [name_f]Vera[/name_f] and [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] flow well.
[name_m]Matthew[/name_m] [name_m]James[/name_m] and [name_m]Aaron[/name_m] [name_m]Jacob[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Maxwell[/name_m] [name_m]Charles[/name_m] and [name_m]Warren[/name_m] [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Noah[/name_m] [name_m]James[/name_m] and [name_m]Lucas[/name_m] [name_m]Evan[/name_m] [name_f][/name_f][name_m]Isaac[/name_m] [name_m]Julian[/name_m] and [name_m]James[/name_m] [name_m]Henry[/name_m]
(I don’t think [name_f]Brenna[/name_f] and [name_f]Gwen[/name_f] together as too similar in sound. I see [name_f]Willa[/name_f] [name_f][/name_f]- my daughter’s name [name_f][/name_f]- as the most southern style so depends if want [name_m]Irish[/name_m] sounds up top. I like them to each have different starting letters and ending sounds. I would change Vera’s middle name from [name_f]Mae[/name_f] to something less like [name_m]Hayes[/name_m] (one syllable Ate sound), less showbiz, and more [name_m]Irish[/name_m] sounding, like [name_f]Vera[/name_f] [name_f]Eileen[/name_f], [name_f]Vera[/name_f] [name_f]Brigid[/name_f], [name_f]Vera[/name_f] [name_f]Aisling[/name_f]. [name_m]Rory[/name_m] would be another good option for Rhett.)
[name_f][/name_f]
For the [name_m]Hamilton[/name_m] family, I would probably choose [name_f]Summer[/name_f] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] but both sets work. Possible boys (but again no repeat starting letter and ideally ending sound): [name_m]Rupert[/name_m], [name_m]Caleb[/name_m], [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], [name_m]Edmund[/name_m], [name_m]Hubert[/name_m], [name_m]Marshall[/name_m], [name_m]George[/name_m], [name_m]Stafford[/name_m], [name_m]Spencer[/name_m], [name_m]Jeremy[/name_m], [name_m]Nathan[/name_m], [name_m]Graham[/name_m], [name_m]Piers[/name_m], [name_m]Gregory[/name_m], or [name_m]Julian[/name_m].
