[name_m]Just[/name_m] want to start by saying thank you for getting me through my quarantine. [name_u]Love[/name_u] you all!

Dh’s great grandfather was named Verley/Verlie. In trying to research the name I think it might have been an Americanized version of [name_m]Verle[/name_m]. Does anyone have any more information on the name? It’s family usage has endeared me to it but I’m not sure if it’s actually usable. I also wish I could ask his parents where they came up with it!

I think it’s pretty unisex! I prefer [name_m]Verle[/name_m] to Verley though, which doesn’t quite feel like a name to me. For a girl you could also do [name_f]Vera[/name_f] to honour your husband’s relative!

I have a great-aunt [name_f]Vera[/name_f], who is lovely but not quite close enough to for me to honor her.
