I think the name Victarion is quite lovely. It means ‘champion’ or ‘winner’ and it’s incredibly similar to Victor, which I already think is a very handsome name. I like the added bit at the end, I feel like it just makes it more unique.
In my opinion, it’s a beautiful name with a powerful feeling behind it. It feels very romantic to me.
I’m looking for opinions. What do you think of it? Any potential nicknames? Other associations? Concerns?

Victarion is cool – I do prefer just [name_m]Victor[/name_m] myself, but I understand the appeal of Victarion – it’s bold and strong and “ancient emperor”-esque, and more unique than [name_m]Victor[/name_m]. It reminds me of [name_m]Valerian[/name_m], which also has a cool meaning of “strong” and that bold, ancient vibe.
[name_f][/name_f]I can see it getting mixed up for ‘Victorian’ a lot. It also does remind me a little of victim + contrarian?
