In my story I have a female villain and I stumbled across the name [name_u]Ricky[/name_u] for her. I’m thinking I’ll do a different spelling but I’m not sure what I’d do. Maybe [name_u]Rickie[/name_u] or [name_f]Ricki[/name_f] but I don’t want it to be too girly. What do you think? Also, what are suggestions for last names?
Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
You could also go for the spelling of [name_u]Riki[/name_u], [name_u]Rikki[/name_u]. I do like the [name_u]Ricky[/name_u] though, because it’s more masculine and I just love masculine names on females :3 (Especially when it causes misunderstandings and anger on the lady’s part ala “I thought I was meeting a guy???” lmao but that’s me and totally unrelated.)
Last names…it’s hard to give any suggestions because a lot goes into a surname (time period, country, ethnicity…) but a good place to go is to just find some first names and make it a last name! There’s loads of those; especially when you add an ‘s’ or a ‘son’ to the end!
Thanks! I agree that masculine names on females can be really cool. My middle name is a guys name after a late family friend. I’m constantly going back and forth between hating it and loving it
I’m not sure yet on the ethnicity of the villain but I’ll look up some names and see what I find
