What are your favorite vintage girl name combos? In need of ideas for second daughter! first daughter is Bianca Maisie. Last name is one syllable so prefer longer names (2-4 syllables) with solid nickname potential.
First choice right now is Eloise Violet at the moment but I fear it’s a bit more popular than I’d like so second guessing. Not a dealbreaker, but I’m open to other ideas! I also have considered Guinevere Beatrix .
Any you like / don’t like? First daughter’s name? Any considerations - do you like longer names, shorter ones, what kind of names go with your last name, etc? More info helps us tailor our recommendations!
[name_f]Eloise[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is nice! [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] is gaining steam but not hugely popular in the data, although regionally it may be more popular where you are. BTW [name_f]Bianca[/name_f] [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] is so sweet!
Have you considered [name_f]Elowen[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]? It’s much less popular than [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] right now but has similar nickname options and feel to it!
So many gorgeous names here! [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] is so fun but solid at the same time- totally forgot about this name! [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] nickname [name_f]Viv[/name_f] is another top notch option. [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] is one of my all time favs I find myself going back to again and again. Definitely adding a few of these to my list
I do too - I think it’s gorgeous and love nickname options for Guinevere…my husband thinks it sounds “too pretentious” though so still working on him
[name_f]Luella[/name_f], [name_f]Geneva[/name_f] , and [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] - yes! Wish I could use [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] but I know a little one. [name_f]Geneva[/name_f] feels like a lighter version of [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f] - I like it! Uncommon but familiar and easy to pronounce.
Bianca Maisie is beautiful such a chic international choice that feels feminine and romantic. I love Eloise Violet she’s so preppy and bright. I think Bianca + Eloise feel very well matched with a pan European vibe. Guinevere Beatrix is also stunning such a magical name that feels ethereal and bold. I think Eloise is the better match with Bianca just because they have that preppy feel however sibling set cohesion isn’t the main concern.
You’ve had lots of lovely suggestions so count any repeats as me being in agreement with the berries

Would love to hear opinions on [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f] - it’s a new one I’ve added to my list. I love that [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] is much less common than [name_f]Eloise[/name_f] (at the moment ) but similar style. [name_u]Awesome[/name_u] meaning too is a plus.
