Sorry if these are getting annoying!! I’m just so excited and I don’t want to share ideas with anyone in real life just yet, and this is my only place to go.
I stumbled across [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and I am in love. It’s not one I had considered before but after falling in love with a character in a book it has moved to the top of my list.
Does [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u] sound nice?
I know [name_u]James[/name_u] is a boy’s name, but it would be an honor name and I love how sweet it sounds. The initials “VJ” concern me, though. Last name starts with a “T.”
As a kid, I only ever went by my first and last initial so maybe its nothing to worry over.
If not [name_u]James[/name_u], do you have any other middle name ideas?
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] I love, or even [name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f], but my husband doesn’t care for [name_f]Grace[/name_f].
I suppose it could work if you really wanted to use this honor name, but I must admit I dislike [name_u]James[/name_u] on a girl. What about [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_u]Jay[/name_u] or [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Jacqueline[/name_f]?
when i saw the title of your thread, “[name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u]”, my first reaction was “what a cool name!”
amazing how the names have rather different vibes (imo) but together they just work, balance each other out in some inscrutable manner.
like previous poster, llewthewolf, said, if you feel it’s right, go for it!
I usually don’t like [name_u]James[/name_u] on a girl but I really think [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_u]James[/name_u] works. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is spunky and feminine, and balances out the funky, slightly masculine [name_u]James[/name_u]. I love it! Very kickass.
