Seeking any and all opinions since I’ve been liking both lately. Which do you prefer and why?
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] has been growing on me a lot lately. [name_f]Violetta[/name_f] is just too much personally.
I’ve got to to with [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. [name_f]Violetta[/name_f] is a little over the top. I love that it would have the potential nn [name_f]Etta[/name_f], but I still prefer the more streamlined [name_f]Violet[/name_f].
I know a little girl named [name_f]Violetta[/name_f], and I think it fits her very well. I personally think it’s usable, but I would pair it with a short, simple middle name to even things out. E.g. [name_f]Violetta[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] or [name_f]Violetta[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f].
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] is nice too. I wouldn’t personally use either of them, so I don’t really have much of a preference.
Like them both … [name_f]Violetta[/name_f] sounds elegant
Definitely [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. Its such a pretty nature/colour name [name_f]Violetta[/name_f] seems like a more pretentious version of the lovely flower name [name_f]Violet[/name_f] xxxx
I have [name_f]Violetta[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] [name_f]Lenore[/name_f] on my short list. I prefer [name_f]Violetta[/name_f] because… well, I tend to like such feminine and elaborate name. It’s more beautiful, imo. Pronounced vee-oh-let-ah, it also takes away any similarities to the word violent [name_f]Violet[/name_f] may has.
[name_f]Violetta[/name_f] is too much for me. I would go with [name_f]Violet[/name_f] or [name_f]Viola[/name_f].
