We do IVF and have had multiple losses. Both of our girls have virtuous middle names - [name_f]Faith[/name_f] and [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. What boys names are similar? [name_f]Patience[/name_f], [name_f]Hope[/name_f]… they’re all girl names!
Also what really amazing boy names are there for rainbow babies (example: [name_u]Malin[/name_u] is “little warrior”)
Brave
[name_u]Justice[/name_u]
[name_m]Noble[/name_m]
[name_u]Pax[/name_u] (as in peace)
[name_u]True[/name_u]
[name_u]Valentine[/name_u] (not a virtue name, per se, but it’s a word name and it means “strong, vigorous, healthy”)
[name_m]Valor[/name_m]
(And of course, nothing says you can’t use a traditionally female virtue name like [name_f]Amity[/name_f] or [name_f]Joy[/name_f] for a boy.)
Strong/courageous boy names:
[name_m]Basil[/name_m] (“king” from Greek origin or “brave, valiant” from Arabic)
[name_m]Conan[/name_m] (“little wolf”)
[name_m]Leo[/name_m] / [name_u]Lionel[/name_u] / [name_m]Leonardo[/name_m] (any of the lion names seem fitting!)
[name_u]Rex[/name_u] (“king”)
[name_m]Samson[/name_m]
[name_m]Victor[/name_m] – or Victory could work as a virtue middle, perhaps?
[name_m]Vitus[/name_m] (meaning “life”)
The two virtue names I like for boys are [name_m]Valor[/name_m] and [name_m]Prosper[/name_m]. I think [name_m]Prosper[/name_m] in particular would work well for you.
[name_f]Faith[/name_f] and [name_f]Grace[/name_f] strike me as [name_m]Christian[/name_m] names, so I’ll trend towards [name_m]Christian[/name_m] examples, but there are others here, too.
You could use more of an allusion to virtue:
[name_m]Lion[/name_m]
Armor
[name_m]Anchor[/name_m]
Or a given name with roots in the same kind of symbolism as actual virtue names:
[name_m]Oliver[/name_m]
[name_u]Michael[/name_u]
[name_m]Joel[/name_m]
[name_m]Isaac[/name_m]
[name_m]Leo[/name_m]
