Though [name]Vivian[/name]/[name]Vivien[/name] is the more masculine variation, it’s still my favorite. Like you, I see [name]Vivienne[/name] as too fru-fru and crowded. If you live in a French speaking area, then go with it, but otherwise it’s too much. I like the sleekness of [name]Vivien[/name] and [name]Vivian[/name]. [name]Viviana[/name] is nice enough, but it’s a bit too much for me.
[name]Vivian[/name] or [name]Vivien[/name] for sure.
If u cant choose between those 2 perhaps ask a few people to spell the name and see which one comes up most often, or seems the most obvious spelling. Good luck!
I guess I’d prefer [name]Viviana[/name], just because I’m not a fan of [name]Vivien[/name] to begin with and [name]Viviana[/name] would give her the option of [name]Ana[/name].
Maybe Viviene? Is that a legit spelling?
[name]Viviana[/name] is very pretty and I think may make her feel more special as [name]Vivienne[/name] seems to be gaining momentum.
I agree with aj_bear. I voted [name]Vivian[/name], but my fav [name]Vi[/name]- name is [name]Vienne[/name].

For my money, you can’t beat the glamour that the memory of [name]Vivien[/name] [name]Leigh[/name] gives to that spelling. It’s on my list!
I so had [name]Vivien[/name] [name]Leigh[/name] in mind!
I like [name]Vivian[/name] the best. My second choice would be [name]Vivienne[/name], but I sort of feel like that spelling is trying way to hard to be elegant.
[name]Vivien[/name], I like the Old Hollywood feel.
[name]Viviana[/name] is pretty but a totally different feel to me, the girly -ana ending kills the tailored, spare, [name]Art[/name] Deco sensation but gives a bit of a warm Spanish feel.
[name]Vivienne[/name] third place. It doesn’t have the musical [name]Viviana[/name] sound or the simple crisp [name]Vivien[/name] look. But I like it more than [name]Vivian[/name].
[name]IMO[/name], [name]Vivian[/name] is the way to go unless you’re French or living in a French-speaking area: it’s not ambiguous when it comes to pronunciation in English and lacks unnecessary letters. [name]Vivien[/name] [name]Leigh[/name]'s spelling is alright, but as it’s less standard it could lead to more spelling confusion than [name]Vivian[/name].
