As an Instagram follower of [name_u]Jessie[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Decker[/name_m] (country singer and wife to NFL football player [name_m]Eric[/name_m] [name_m]Decker[/name_m]) I have been patiently awaiting the news of the name of their baby girl. After her baby shower she said “It was …the perfect way to welcome baby V.” She also hinted that it would be “very southern and traditional.” [name_u]Early[/name_u] on I guessed [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]; the elaborate ultra girly [name_u]Jessie[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] would never go for [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] or [name_u]Vivien[/name_u]. Other thoughts were [name_f]Victoria[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f], or [name_f]Vienna[/name_f]. Well I was thrown for a loop today not by the name but by the spelling [name_f]ViviANNE[/name_f].
What do you think of the spelling and if it was your baby, which V name would you have chosen? I would have gone for the classically spelled [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] or possibly [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] if I could avoid the nicknames [name_f]Vicky[/name_f] and [name_f]Tori/name_f.
I dont really like the name . I was sure too that she would choose a frilly name but i would have totally prefer [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] or [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] . The V name i would choose is [name_f]Virginia[/name_f] with the nn V .
The [name_f]Vivianne[/name_f] spelling is just horrendous to me! While the popularity of [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] has steered me away, this spelling has completely turned me off to all spellings of the name!
I’m so glad that I wasn’t the only one waiting for her baby! When I saw that the baby’s name was going to start with a v I immediately thought of [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] and when I found out it was [name_f]Vivianne[/name_f], I was a tad bit disappointed. I am not a fan of [name_f]Vivianne[/name_f] at all, I still wish it was [name_f]Victoria[/name_f]!
