Not a girl’s name I would use as it’s too much of a GP but if you can have Fox for a boy, then why not Vixen for a girl. 
I know it has some negative connotations but I see past it.

Well, as we know, it’s pretty easy for me to see past negative associations rooted in sexism 
I Googled this, just to see what would come up. One of the definitions is: a spirited or fierce woman, especially one seen as sexually attractive.
In my opinion, the world is ready to see women as people (spirited and fierce!!) without objectifying them. Soooo I really love this name and I would become instant friends with a mom on the playground if she had a daughter Vixen.

i know Vixen as meaning a sexually attractive woman, like in this definition
So for that reason, I could never imagine naming a little girl something that means sexually attractive. That feels completely wrong
Looking past the meaning, I do love the sound of Vixen. the meaning is just too much for me

I think it’s cute in theory and I love animal names… but I’m not sure if it’s advisable as a first name because of the “sexually attractive woman” meaning. Perhaps as a middle name?

The associations don’t bother me too much, but I’d probably be cautious about using it. The sound is very cool though, could totally see myself naming a sim Vixen!

While I see the appeal in the sound, I feel like I should point out that Vixen is also a homophone to the [name_m]German[/name_m] verb wichsen, a slang term for masturbation (similar to “wank it”.)

I agree with everyone, whilst this is probably not a very useable name I think the sound is so cool. I would be very surprised and intrigued to meet a Vixen.

I like it as a self proclaimed nickname…but for a little kid…nooo. There’s too many weird dudes who would make a joke of it. Desiree’s suffer enough and that’s a lovely name.
