I would quite like some feedback on my current list. You could just pick one you like and one you hate if you haven’t got much time

[name_f]Margo[/name_f] [name_f]Milena[/name_f]
[name_f]Kirrily[/name_f] [name_f]Acacia[/name_f]
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Endellion[/name_f]
[name_f]Nadia[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f]
[name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_f]Iola[/name_f]
[name_f]Emeline[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f]
[name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] [name_f]Rowena[/name_f]
[name_f]Dorothea[/name_f] [name_m]Nim[/name_m]
[name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_u]Robin[/name_u]
[name_u]Rani[/name_u] [name_f]Jemima[/name_f]
[name_f]Eimear[/name_f] [name_f]Cosette[/name_f]
[name_f]Miriam[/name_f] [name_f]Celeste[/name_f]
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Cadenza[/name_f]
[name_f]Stella[/name_f] _______

[name_m]Samson[/name_m] [name_m]Hugo[/name_m]
Skandar [name_u]Finn[/name_u]
[name_m]Eamon[/name_m] [name_u]Oak[/name_u]
[name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]John[/name_m]
[name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_m]Judd[/name_m]

Thank you!

[name_m]Favorite[/name_m] girl- [name_f]Nadia[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f]. It sounds so feminine, but grounded. I can see it on girls with many different personalities.
Least favorite girl- [name_u]Rani[/name_u] [name_f]Jemima[/name_f]. The names almost clash, and it just isn’t appealing to my ear.
[name_m]Favorite[/name_m] boy- Skander [name_u]Finn[/name_u]. This name sounds like an adventurer, it is handsome and exciting.
Least favorite boy- [name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_m]Judd[/name_m]. It sounds very harsh and clunky to me.

I really like:

[name_f]Margo[/name_f] [name_f]Milena[/name_f]
[name_f]Nadia[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f]
[name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_f]Iola[/name_f]
[name_f]Emeline[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f]
[name_f]Miriam[/name_f] [name_f]Celeste[/name_f]

And since you only have five boy’s names:

[name_m]Samson[/name_m] [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] – perfect
Skandar [name_u]Finn[/name_u] – Skandar makes me think “scandal,” but it is a nice combo
[name_m]Eamon[/name_m] [name_u]Oak[/name_u] – I feel like there should be a name between [name_m]Eamon[/name_m] and [name_u]Oak[/name_u]
[name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]John[/name_m] – excellent
[name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_m]Judd[/name_m] – same problem as [name_m]Eamon[/name_m] [name_u]Oak[/name_u]; feels too short

I’ve bolded the ones I particularly like.

[name_f]Margo[/name_f] [name_f]Milena[/name_f] - not bad, though I prefer the [name_m]French[/name_m] Margeaux spelling, and even that is difficult for me to swallow, as I prefer “o” names to be left to the boys
[name_f]Kirrily[/name_f] [name_f]Acacia[/name_f] - That looks like a spelling nightmare; perhaps [name_f]Acacia[/name_f] [name_f]Kirrily[/name_f]? (Though I suppose [name_f]Acacia[/name_f] isn’t well known outside of nameberry)
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Endellion[/name_f] - Not bad - at least the odd one is in the middle. A little “d” heavy for my tastes (I just don’t like the sound of “d”) and be forewarned that [name_f]ADA[/name_f] in the US (if you’re from the US) stands for the American Disabilities Association, the American Dental Association…
[name_f]Nadia[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f] - [name_u]Love[/name_u]! I actually don’t like either name on its own too much, but together they balance out the more heavy [name_f]Nadia[/name_f] and flimsy [name_f]Willow[/name_f] into a lovely combination that is at once unique and recognizable.
[name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_f]Iola[/name_f] - Much as I like [name_f]Primrose[/name_f], I really can’t see it working in real life. I’m not sure how to pronounce [name_f]Iola[/name_f] (is it like [name_f]Iona[/name_f] with an “l”?) but it’s in the middle so that shouldn’t matter.
[name_f]Emeline[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f] - just like [name_f]Nadia[/name_f], the names balance out with the high pitched “ee” sound in [name_f]Emeline[/name_f], and the low pitched “oh” in [name_f]Hope[/name_f]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] be aware of getting mixed up with Emilys.
[name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] [name_f]Rowena[/name_f] - Cute yet substantial. I find myself like [name_f]Rowena[/name_f] more and more every day.
[name_f]Dorothea[/name_f] [name_m]Nim[/name_m] - Though I don’t like [name_m]Nim[/name_m] very much, I’m sure it as significance to you, and it does flow well with such a long name like [name_f]Dorothea[/name_f].
[name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_u]Robin[/name_u] - Not bad. I feel like I should like this more, but it doesn’t stun me. Also, I prefer the [name_f]Robyn[/name_f] spelling. Otherwise, it makes me go, “Holy [name_f]Julia[/name_f], Batman!”
[name_u]Rani[/name_u] [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] - The flow is lovely, though I’m not a fan of either name.
[name_f]Eimear[/name_f] [name_f]Cosette[/name_f] - A [name_m]French[/name_m] Irish crossover! However, I’m not a huge fan. Not enough vowels stand out, perhaps. The “r” from [name_f]Eimear[/name_f] really sticks, as does the “s” from [name_f]Cosette[/name_f].
[name_f]Miriam[/name_f] [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] - Gorgeous! The syllables match up perfectly.
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Cadenza[/name_f] - I like it, but I’ve never personally liked [name_f]Grace[/name_f] much.
[name_f]Stella[/name_f] _______ - Bad experience with a [name_f]Stella[/name_f]; I’ve no right to comment.

[name_m]Samson[/name_m] [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] - Big, strong, tough guy name. A little too tough for my tastes.
Skandar [name_u]Finn[/name_u] - The flow isn’t bad, but I don’t see the appeal of Skander.
[name_m]Eamon[/name_m] [name_u]Oak[/name_u] - The “ea” and “oa” sounds are so close they clash. (Though I do love both names! [name_m]Eamon[/name_m] [name_m]Judd[/name_m], perhaps? Or [name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_u]Oak[/name_u]?)
[name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]John[/name_m] - Flow is nice, but I’ve never been an [name_u]August[/name_u] fan.
[name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_m]Judd[/name_m] - [name_m]Judd[/name_m] reminds me of mud, and [name_u]Rory[/name_u] isn’t appealing to me.

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] that helped!

Oh wow! Thanks for your lovely, honest feedback. It seems like [name_f]Nadia[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f] is appealing to most  That is surprising!

[name_f]Margo[/name_f] [name_f]Milena[/name_f]- I love [name_f]Margo/name_f because it sounds beautiful and classic yet different enough to stand out. [name_f]Milena[/name_f] isn’t really my style but I appreciate the flow. [name_f]Lita[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f] is on my list as a combination.
[name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_f]Iola[/name_f]- A very cute choice. It is sweet so I’m not sure how well it would age but it has ample nickname options which would help! [name_f]Iola[/name_f] is fun and vibrant which I like.
[name_f]Ottilie[/name_f]- Absolutely adore this name. It is darling. [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] flow and sound to it with the cute nn Otter.
[name_m]Nim[/name_m]- [name_u]Love[/name_u] the idea of a shorter middle name. [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_m]Nim[/name_m] or [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] [name_m]Nim[/name_m] are lovely.
[name_f]Stella[/name_f]- This is lovely as well as [name_f]Della[/name_f] and [name_f]Greta[/name_f]. Has the trendy -ella but with more spunk.

[name_m]Samson[/name_m] [name_m]Hugo[/name_m]- [name_u]Love[/name_u] both of these as a combination. Biblical and unusual but not unheard of with some added flare, great.
X

Margo Milena - Not big on the alliteration, nor am I a huge fan of [name_f]Margo[/name_f], but [name_f]Milena[/name_f] is beautiful.

Kirrily Acacia - Not heard of [name_f]Kirrily[/name_f] before but it’s interesting! Quite a whimsical sounding combination, I like it.

Ada Endellion - Absolutely adore both names!

Nadia Willow - Absolutely perfect!

Primrose Iola - Not too keen on [name_f]Primrose[/name_f], I prefer other “[name_f]Rose[/name_f]” names. [name_f]Iola[/name_f] is pretty.

Emeline Hope - [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Emeline[/name_f], but I don’t like [name_f]Hope[/name_f] at all.

Ottilie Rowena - Again, perfect!

Dorothea Nim - [name_f]Dorothea[/name_f] is beautiful, and [name_m]Nim[/name_m] is such a quirky middle name choice!

Julia Robin - Seems very dated compared the other names.

Rani Jemima - Very interesting, I like it!

Eimear Cosette - Not huge on [name_f]Eimear[/name_f], but it could grow on me. [name_f]Cosette[/name_f] is adorable.

Miriam Celeste - Perfect!

Grace Cadenza - [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is very sweet, but I don’t like [name_f]Cadenza[/name_f].

Stella _______ - [name_f]Stella[/name_f] is beautiful!

Samson Hugo - Prefer other “[name_u]Sam[/name_u]” names to [name_m]Samson[/name_m], but I adore [name_m]Hugo[/name_m]

Skandar Finn - Perfect, I love seeing other people that like Skandar!

Eamon Oak - [name_m]Eamon[/name_m] seems really dated to me. [name_u]Oak[/name_u] is lovely!

August John - Perfect!

Rory Judd - [name_u]Rory[/name_u] is lovely, but I hate the sound of [name_m]Judd[/name_m].

Favourites: [name_f]Nadia[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f] & Skandar [name_u]Finn[/name_u]

I love Skandar [name_u]Finn[/name_u] and [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]John[/name_m], I love all the names in these combos! [name_u]August[/name_u] and Skandar are two favourites of mine. [name_f]My[/name_f] least favourite is probably [name_m]Eamon[/name_m], but it’s not bad, I’m just not a huge fan. From your girls my favourite first is [name_f]Margo[/name_f], and [name_f]Nadia[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f] has a great flow, but I love a lot of your middles, especially [name_f]Rowena[/name_f], [name_f]Willow[/name_f], and [name_f]Iola[/name_f]. I’m not a fan of [name_f]Stella[/name_f] in general, so that would have to be my least favourite.

[name_f]My[/name_f] favourites:

[name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] [name_f]Rowena[/name_f]
[name_f]Dorothea[/name_f] [name_m]Nim[/name_m]
[name_m]Samson[/name_m] [name_m]Hugo[/name_m]
Skandar [name_u]Finn[/name_u]
[name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]John[/name_m]

Thanks everyone. I really appreciate it

I like [name_f]Ada[/name_f], [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f], [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and [name_f]Stella[/name_f] but personally am not a fan of the middle names, they flow nicely but just aren’t my style.
[name_f]Emeline[/name_f] is sweet too but this spelling leads me to think that you would pronounce it -leen, which I don’t like.
[name_f]Margo[/name_f], [name_f]Julia[/name_f] and [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] are nice. And I like [name_f]Celeste[/name_f], [name_f]Acacia[/name_f], [name_f]Cosette[/name_f] and [name_m]Nim[/name_m] as middle names more than the first names they’re paired with.

[name_m]Samson[/name_m], [name_u]August[/name_u] and [name_u]Rory[/name_u] are super cool, my favourite being [name_u]August[/name_u]. I also like the middle name [name_u]Finn[/name_u] and the idea of [name_m]Hugo[/name_m].
Skandar reminds me a bit too much of Scandal (Skandal in [name_m]German[/name_m]) and [name_m]Eamon[/name_m] is not my style.
I think [name_m]Samson[/name_m] [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] is my favourite combo of yours as I don’t like [name_m]Judd[/name_m] and find [name_m]John[/name_m] a tiny bit boring.

[name_f]Margo[/name_f] [name_f]Milena[/name_f] - I prefer [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Melina[/name_f], but it’s a cute name
[name_f]Kirrily[/name_f] [name_f]Acacia[/name_f] - totally NMS, it sounds good, but doesn’t really look good
[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Endellion[/name_f] - don’t like it
[name_f]Nadia[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f] - I love these names individually, but not really together. They have sort of conflicting styles and there isn’t much flow
[name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_f]Iola[/name_f] - I’m neutral on [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] (I would love to meet a little [name_f]Primrose[/name_f], but would never use it myself) with two Hunger Games movies left, that connotation will stay pretty strong for a while. [name_f]Iola[/name_f] doesn’t have the nicest sound and it looks like [name_f]Lola[/name_f]
[name_f]Emeline[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f] - meh
[name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] [name_f]Rowena[/name_f] - meh
[name_f]Dorothea[/name_f] [name_m]Nim[/name_m] - cute!!
[name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_u]Robin[/name_u] - very dated
[name_u]Rani[/name_u] [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] - NMS
[name_f]Eimear[/name_f] [name_f]Cosette[/name_f] - love [name_f]Cosette[/name_f], it’s an adorable mn
[name_f]Miriam[/name_f] [name_f]Celeste[/name_f] - okay
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Cadenza[/name_f] - not crazy about these two together
[name_f]Stella[/name_f] _______ - love [name_f]Stella[/name_f]!!!

[name_m]Samson[/name_m] [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] - it’s nice
Skandar [name_u]Finn[/name_u] - I like [name_u]Finn[/name_u]. I’ve never heard Skander before
[name_m]Eamon[/name_m] [name_u]Oak[/name_u] - not a fan of [name_m]Eamon[/name_m]. I like [name_u]Oakley[/name_u] better, but [name_u]Oak[/name_u] is a cool mn
[name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]John[/name_m] - strange combo. I like [name_u]August[/name_u] though
[name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_m]Judd[/name_m] - love!!! (but I think it would work best with a longer last name)

[name_f]Kirrily[/name_f] [name_f]Acacia[/name_f] - [name_u]LOVE[/name_u], fun and pretty and sweet
[name_f]Nadia[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f] - [name_u]LOVE[/name_u], elegant and soft but with good backbone
[name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_f]Iola[/name_f] - NOPE, [name_f]Primrose[/name_f], or Prim, will get a negative reaction in other kids unless she has super-amazing popularity skills
[name_f]Emeline[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f] - [name_u]LOVE[/name_u], but an [name_f]Emeline[/name_f] I knew in college was a bit silly and awkward

[name_m]Samson[/name_m] [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] - Good
Skandar [name_u]Finn[/name_u] - Nope, sounds like “scandalous”
[name_m]Eamon[/name_m] [name_u]Oak[/name_u] - Good
[name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]John[/name_m] - Nope, I’ve known boys named [name_u]August[/name_u] and it just doesn’t work, other kids always think [name_u]August[/name_u] is a weird kid.
[name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_m]Judd[/name_m] - Nope

I’m a sucker for the right alliterative combo, so my favorite from the girl’s list is [name_f]Margo[/name_f] [name_f]Milena[/name_f]. For a boy, I like [name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]John[/name_m].

I’m not into [name_f]Cadenza[/name_f] as a middle because it reminds me of credenza.

[name_m]Hi[/name_m], everyone! I’m new here, and while I am not a mom yet I need some help with the names I have chosen for my future children so far. I want six babies ( don’t judge me please! ) and these are their names:

[name_f]My[/name_f] first son: [name_m]Galileo[/name_m] or [name_m]Gabriel[/name_m]
I don’t have a middle name for him yet so if anyone can help me with those, that’ll be great.
[name_f]My[/name_f] first daughter: [name_f]Esther[/name_f] [name_f]Minerva[/name_f]
What do you think?
[name_f]My[/name_f] second son: [name_m]Keanu[/name_m]
A middle name is needed here too.
[name_f]My[/name_f] second daughter: [name_f]Florence[/name_f]
Middle name?
[name_f]My[/name_f] third daughter: Tzipporah [name_u]Wren[/name_u]
What do you think?
[name_f]My[/name_f] third son: [name_m]Ezra[/name_m]
Again, middle name?

I’d really appreciate it if y’all would help me with this right quick. I’ll be around here often because besides being a future mother, I’m an author and I need names for my characters, but I won’t bore you all with the details. [name_m]Just[/name_m] this first favour would help me a lot!

P. S. Their last name is [name_m]SIMON[/name_m].

Really like these:
[name_f]Nadia[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f]
[name_f]Emeline[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f]
[name_f]Dorothea[/name_f] [name_m]Nim[/name_m]
[name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_u]Robin[/name_u]
And these:
[name_m]Samson[/name_m] [name_m]Hugo[/name_m]
[name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]John[/name_m]
[name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_m]Judd[/name_m]

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Stella[/name_f]
Hate [name_f]Kirrily[/name_f] (don’t know how you spell it, sorry)

I like:

[name_f]Ada[/name_f] [name_f]Endellion[/name_f]
[name_f]Nadia[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f]

[name_f]Dorothea[/name_f] [name_m]Nim[/name_m]
[name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_u]Robin[/name_u] (prefer [name_f]Juliet[/name_f])
[name_f]Miriam[/name_f] [name_f]Celeste[/name_f]
[name_f]Grace[/name_f] [name_f]Cadenza[/name_f]

[name_u]Rani[/name_u] [name_f]Jemima[/name_f] and [name_f]Eimear[/name_f] [name_f]Cosette[/name_f] sound mismatched, stylistically. You’re also sure to run into pronunciation problems – which, as someone whose first name is consistently mispronounced, is a big issue.

[name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_f]Iola[/name_f] is well-balanced, but [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] is such an odd mix of primly buttoned-down and over-the-top cutesy that I have difficulty taking it seriously.

[name_f]Emeline[/name_f] is a great name – though I prefer the [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] spelling – but I think it deserves a more interesting middle than [name_f]Hope[/name_f].

[name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] [name_f]Rowena[/name_f] is striking, but with my accent [name_f]Ottilie[/name_f] will forever sound like “Oddly.”

Skandar [name_u]Finn[/name_u]
[name_m]Eamon[/name_m] [name_u]Oak[/name_u]

[name_u]August[/name_u] [name_m]John[/name_m] sounds like a title to me. Perhaps consider pairing [name_u]August[/name_u] with a less formal-sounding name, like [name_m]Jack[/name_m]? I do quite like [name_m]Augustus[/name_m] [name_m]John[/name_m].

[name_u]Rory[/name_u] [name_m]Judd[/name_m] is rather harsh-sounding to my ears. [name_m]Samson[/name_m] [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] sounds a bit mismatched: [name_m]Samson[/name_m] is strong and biblical, while [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] is (to me) British and jaunty.

I don’t like the double-M’s in [name_f]Margo[/name_f] [name_f]Milena[/name_f].
