My vote was for [name]Goldie[/name]. I love it as a nickname for [name]Marigold[/name] though, not on it’s own.
[name]Goldie[/name] is what I would name a fish or a dog. Not a baby.
I prefer the lush name of [name]Georgia[/name]. It has spunk and sass all rolled into one -an elegant lady with backbone! [name]Goldie[/name] is cute - as a nn for a little girl but I don’t think it makes a great name for a mature woman.
[name]Goldie[/name]/[name]Golda[/name] is a family name for me. I really love it. I do prefer [name]Golda[/name] as a full name for a little more gravitas, but [name]Goldie[/name] is sweet. It has a vintage-but-spunky quality to me, similar but less popular than [name]Ruby[/name]. A little bit naughty but not in a current bad-girl way, more Old [name]West[/name] saloon girl. I do like [name]Marigold[/name] but [name]Marigold[/name] is a totally different feel to me than [name]Goldie[/name], and almost sugary.
I don’t mind [name]Georgiana[/name] too much, but I really don’t like [name]Georgia[/name] at all. It’s very popular here so obviously it has an appeal, but I don’t get it.
[name]Georgia[/name] by far. [name]Goldie[/name] sounds like a nickname to me.
As they are, [name]Georgia[/name], by a mile (although I do in general prefer [name]Georgiana[/name]/Giorgiana, but I do love just [name]Georgia[/name] a lot!), but I do really enjoy the idea of [name]Marigold[/name] nn [name]Goldie[/name]! Then again, I just enjoy the idea of [name]Marigold[/name] in general. I love the nn options–[name]Maggie[/name], [name]Mari[/name] (MAH-ree, not muh-[name]REE[/name] or [name]MARE[/name]-ee…), [name]Ari[/name], [name]Goldie[/name]…
[name]Goldie[/name] i know an 80 year old with this name and love it but cant use it
I like the pp mentioning [name]Golda[/name]!
I have a really soft spot for [name]Goldie[/name], it’s soo cute:)
I voted for [name]Goldie[/name]. I like [name]Georgia[/name] too but not as much. I would love [name]Goldie[/name] even more as a nickname for [name]Marigold[/name].
