[name_f]Aaliyah[/name_f] Lexi-Marie is so[name_f][/name_f] pretty!
I have a suggestion: [name_m]London[/name_m] [name_f]Alexis[/name_f] (or [name_f]Alexis[/name_f] London)
I couldn’t vote for all I liked, so I just voted my favorite [name_f][/name_f]- [name_f]Zara[/name_f] [name_f]Alexis[/name_f]! [name_f][/name_f] I adore [name_f]Zara[/name_f] and I love that [name_f]Alexis[/name_f] would honor your partner. [name_f][/name_f] (I think [name_f]Zara[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] or [name_f]Zara[/name_f] [name_f]Alexandrine[/name_f] would be lovely too but feel like different vibes than what you’re going for). [name_f][/name_f] I also liked these:
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Arianna[/name_f] [name_f]Alexis[/name_f] (prefer [name_f]Ariana[/name_f], but either way, beautiful!)
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Everly[/name_f] [name_f]Alexis[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Selena[/name_f] Alexis/Alexis [name_f]Selena[/name_f]
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Aaliyah[/name_f] Lexi-Marie
A lot of these remind me of the 90s—Aaliyah and [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f] Lopez especially, hoop earrings and designer hand bags, R&B, and glamorous NYC. [name_f][/name_f] Idk if that’s what you’re going for, but that’s the vibes I’m getting… I would love to see you use [name_f]Zara[/name_f], though… unexpected, international, versatile, so cool. [name_f][/name_f] All your options are lovely, though, and I can’t wait to see what you pick! [name_f][/name_f] Good luck!
Vibes are very 2010s classic / edgy to me (:
Does Alexis & Selena give you those vibes too? lol not exactly what I’m going for, I just love the names but idk which is the one or which will fit her. Alexis has always been what I thought I’d name my daughter but maybe I’ve gotten burnt out on it but also feel I’ll regret not using it. I also generally like softer girl names and Alexis is a bit stronger so we’ll see. Top rn is Alexis Selena or Selena Alexis but I think I prefer as middle names so one will have to be first…lol or it may totally be another option after I see her… i like Zara but hubby isnt loving it but he may change his mind
That’s an option too
Is that good or bad? Lol definitely don’t want anything that sounds outdated but not super trendy either
ohhh, no, I had this long response ready to send and Nameberry refreshed and I lost the whole response
[name_f]Selena[/name_f] doesn’t really, for me [name_f][/name_f]- she gives me peaceful waters + metropolitan, I could see a [name_f]Selena[/name_f] just about anywhere and she feels timeless. [name_f][/name_f] [name_f]Alexis[/name_f], though, feels 90s-00s for me because most of the Alexises I’ve known were born then (and half of them were Latino men), but [name_f]Lexi[/name_f] is sweet, so tbh I’m not sure what I’d expect an [name_f]Alexis[/name_f] to be, but [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f] does feel more timeless than [name_f]Alexis[/name_f] to me. [name_f][/name_f] I remember loving [name_f]Alexis[/name_f] when my cousin used it for his daughter, though [name_f][/name_f]- I think I’ve just met too many? [name_f][/name_f] But I don’t want to talk you out of it; [name_f]Alexis[/name_f] is so special for you since it honors your partner!
[name_f][/name_f]If [name_f]Alexis[/name_f] and [name_f]Selena[/name_f] both feel like middle names, maybe you could do two middles and keep them both as middles? [name_f][/name_f] Something like [name_f]Zara[/name_f] [name_f]Selene[/name_f] [name_f]Alexis[/name_f] or [name_f]Everly[/name_f] [name_f]Selena[/name_f] [name_f]Alexis[/name_f]?
[name_f][/name_f]tbh I wouldn’t worry too much about which will suit her! [name_f][/name_f] Names magically seem to take on meaning for those who wear them; I remember thinking that my nephew’s name didn’t suit him at all as a baby, but I’m slowly coming around to it, and it does seem to fit him now more than it used to! [name_f][/name_f] I think that’s how it is for lots of people. [name_f][/name_f] I think the beauty of these names, too, is how versatile and international they are. [name_f][/name_f] If I remember correctly, this sweet girl will have parents from different cultures, right? [name_f][/name_f] For me, these names feel like they could belong anywhere, and I imagine any of them working on your sweet girl as she learns the best of multiple cultures and is so, so, so loved. [name_f][/name_f] I’m sure with time you’ll settle into the perfect one, and it will be perfectly hers[name_f][/name_f]. [name_f][/name_f]
Good luck! [name_f][/name_f] I know you’ve been struggling with this decision but I’m sure you’ll make the right choice, mama. [name_f][/name_f]
I do personally think these names seem a bit dated, popular either 90s, early 2000s or like 2010 ish era but they’re not too bad. Maybe search them In the SSA data and see when they were popular if it’s something that matters to you (:
Aww thanks so much for your input. Yes, mexican & white, so we’re trying to come up with something that suits both cultures
Thank you for your insight
Have you considered [name_m]London[/name_m] [name_f]Alexis[/name_f]? I think it could be a cute option for you and it has a nice flow.
I have…but husband has isnt on board with [name_m]London[/name_m] now
