I adore [name]Willa[/name], [name]Winter[/name], and [name]Wren[/name]. I love [name]Waverly[/name], and I like [name]Willow[/name]. The rest I likely wouldn’t consider, but I do have a huge GP crush on [name]Winslet[/name] and [name]Wisteria[/name]! I also love [name]Wellesley[/name], but only for a boy!
That’s really all I’ve got, though, haha… it just doesn’t seem to be a well-loved letter!
ETA: I used to have a thing for the Polish [name]Walentyna[/name], and I still have a huge thing for Polish names, but I don’t think [name]Walentyna[/name] is anywhere near as usable as [name]Valentina[/name] is, and [name]Valentina[/name] seems sweeter and more streamlined…
I don’t know! I think each letter has its day in the sun and right now “L” names are very in–[name]Lily[/name], [name]Landon[/name], [name]Levi[/name], [name]Leo[/name] (and its variants), [name]Liam[/name], [name]Lexi[/name], [name]Laura[/name]/[name]Laurel[/name], [name]Lorelei[/name], [name]Lola[/name], [name]Lila[/name], etc.–but “J” names and “P” names have had their day in the past several decades, too. Still, maybe it’s because they’re so far down? They just don’t seem to be popular anywhere. When my family used to go on vacations we would look for the alphabet in signs, and some letters just aren’t common anywhere–Q, J (well, name-wise, J is a pretty popular letter… elsewhere, not so much!), X, Y, Z, W, U, etc.
I absolutely love Z names, though! They’re so zippy and spunky and fun. [name]Zara[/name], [name]Zinnia[/name], [name]Zenobia[/name], [name]Zoe[/name], [name]Zofia[/name], [name]Zuzanna[/name], etc… they’re all so cool. I don’t know why most of them haven’t caught on yet.
The only “W” name not on your list is Wendra. Have a friend win this name and when her daughter was born, she gave her daughter a “W” name as well that is already on your list.
I predict that W names are going to take off as L names fade out…they’re more unusual, both old-fashioned and more modern nature and word names. (My favorites from your list are [name]Willa[/name] and [name]Winifred[/name], but what I really love are boys’ W names.)
[name]Wallis[/name] ( had a girl in my class with this name… it suited her), [name]Wesley[/name], [name]Whitley[/name], [name]Winola[/name]… thats all i know!
