Want opinions on which names sound best

We are expecting a baby next spring and have chosen some names but wanted some non-family comments.

For a girl we like

[name]Elyssa[/name] [name]Leighton[/name] This is not [name]Alyssa[/name] with an E it is E-lyssa
[name]Juliette[/name] [name]Ellyse[/name]
[name]Ellison[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] this is not [name]Alison[/name] with an E it’s [name]Elly[/name]-son the same E sound as in Elephant
[name]Keely[/name] [name]Grace[/name]

For a boy we have

[name]Everett[/name] [name]Bryce[/name]
[name]Carson[/name] ([name]Patrick[/name]?)

Please give me your opinions and ideas. We want something semi-different but not unusual.

I like [name]Keeley[/name] [name]Grace[/name] & [name]Everett[/name] [name]Bryce[/name].

I like [name]Allison[/name] but spelt this way, [name]Allison[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] is pretty too.

My favourite from your girls list would be [name]Juliette[/name] [name]Ellyse[/name] but I would have chosen [name]Ellison[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] if it was spelt [name]Allison[/name]. I do love [name]Juliette[/name] and your other names seem great:)

I don’t really know if I have a favourite from your boys list (several connotations there for me personally). I would recommend [name]Carson[/name] [name]Bryce[/name] or [name]Patrick[/name] [name]Everett[/name], they just have a better flow in my opinion.

Good luck:)

Actually, [name]Carson[/name] [name]Everett[/name] and [name]Patrick[/name] [name]Bryce[/name] on second thoughts. Yes, that seems better:)

[name]Juliette[/name] [name]Elise[/name] and [name]Everett[/name] are my favorites from your list. :slight_smile:

[name]Just[/name] for fun, you may also like:

[name]Juliette[/name] [name]Blythe[/name]
[name]Juliette[/name] [name]Belle[/name]
[name]Juliette[/name] [name]Camille[/name]
[name]Juliette[/name] [name]Delphine[/name]
[name]Juliette[/name] [name]Mireille[/name] (meer-AY)
[name]Juliette[/name] [name]Pearl[/name]
[name]Juliette[/name] [name]Simone[/name]

[name]Everett[/name] [name]Charles[/name]
[name]Everett[/name] [name]Harrison[/name]
[name]Everett[/name] [name]James[/name]
[name]Everett[/name] [name]Miles[/name]
[name]Everett[/name] [name]Pierce[/name]

Good luck! :slight_smile:

[name]Juliette[/name] [name]Elise[/name] looks prettier to me. I like [name]Everett[/name] [name]Carson[/name]. GL!

From your girls list my favorites are
[name]Elyssa[/name] [name]Leighton[/name] (I like [name]Elyssa[/name] spelled [name]Elissa[/name] ([name]Dido[/name]) too.
[name]Ellison[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] - even though it has “ell” in the first and middle name I still think it sounds really pretty.

I like [name]Everett[/name] but would like [name]Bryce[/name] [name]Everett[/name] better.
[name]Carson[/name] [name]Patrick[/name] - all though [name]Patrick[/name] is probably a common middle name I really like it with [name]Carson[/name].

I really like [name]Jill[/name]'s suggestion of [name]Juliette[/name] [name]Simone[/name].

I also agree about spelling [name]Elise[/name] this way.

[name]Juliette[/name] [name]Ellyse[/name] and [name]Everett[/name] [name]Bryce[/name] are lovely and distinguished sounding, imo.

[name]Elyssa[/name] [name]Leighton[/name]-This is another name that isn’t really that different. Its [name]Alyssa[/name] spelled with an E, but its still [name]Alyssa[/name], she will forever be known as [name]Elyssa[/name] spelled with an E. [name]Leighton[/name] is really masculine and just feels dull in the middle name spot. It looks like its a family name tacked on.
[name]Juliette[/name] [name]Ellyse[/name]-[name]Juliette[/name] is really pretty, but I really dislike the [name]Ellyse[/name] spelling. [name]Juliette[/name] [name]Elise[/name] would be so much prettier.
[name]Ellison[/name] [name]Noelle[/name]-this isn’t that different, its just [name]Allison[/name] spelled differently, but its still [name]Allison[/name], an exceedingly common name. I think if you like [name]Allison[/name] then you should just stick with the [name]Allison[/name] spelling. I am not a huge fan of [name]Allison[/name], I find it bland and the -son ending really bothers me. I would prefer the reverse [name]Noelle[/name] [name]Allison[/name].
[name]Keely[/name] [name]Grace[/name]-[name]Keely[/name] is too cutsy and trendy for my liking.

[name]Everett[/name] [name]Bryce[/name]-this is nice, but [name]Brice[/name] looks far less trendy and its the legit traditional spelling.
[name]Carson[/name] ([name]Patrick[/name]?)-[name]Carson[/name] is becoming really popular. I don’t like it at all, reminds me of Carton.

[name]Ellison[/name] isn’t [name]Allison[/name] with an “E” It’s pronounced more [name]Elly[/name]-son. I don’t like the name [name]Allison[/name] and didn’t get the similarity until you mentioned it.

[name]Keely[/name] and [name]Patrick[/name] were picked because of their Irish connection. We were in [name]Ireland[/name] for our first anniversary when we found out we were pregnant and wanted a way to really remember that trip.

[name]Carson[/name] [name]Brant[/name] is another name we like together instead of using [name]Patrick[/name]

We do like double letters but it isn’t required that we stick with that.

I like your name choices, but I prefer more traditional (& simpler) spellings. In some cases, I would modify your name choice to make them either a bit more classic or a bit more simple. But that’s just my taste …

[name]Elyssa[/name] [name]Leighton[/name] --> [name]Alyssa[/name] [name]Lee[/name] or [name]Alice[/name] [name]Leah[/name] or [name]Elise[/name] [name]Leia[/name] or [name]Alys[/name] [name]Leigh[/name] or [name]Alisa[/name] [name]Lia[/name]

[name]Juliette[/name] [name]Elysse[/name] --> [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Elise[/name] or [name]Julia[/name] [name]Alissa[/name] or [name]Julia[/name] [name]Lisette[/name] or [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Alice[/name]

[name]Ellison[/name] [name]Noelle[/name] --> [name]Eliza[/name] [name]Nellie[/name] or [name]Allison[/name] [name]Noelle[/name]

[name]Keely[/name] [name]Grace[/name] --> [name]Kelly[/name] [name]Grace[/name] or [name]Kelsey[/name] [name]Grace[/name] or [name]Kimberly[/name] [name]Grace[/name] or [name]Kirsten[/name] [name]Grace[/name] or [name]Kira[/name] [name]Grace[/name] or [name]Kirstie[/name] [name]Grace[/name]

Great ideas.

[name]Juliette[/name] and [name]Everett[/name].

I like [name]Juliette[/name] [name]Ellyse[/name] and [name]Everett[/name] Byce. [name]Keely[/name] [name]Grace[/name] is pretty as well. I don’t like [name]Ellison[/name].

I love [name]Juliet[/name] so that would have to be a first name for me. A beautiful combo would be [name]Juliet[/name] [name]Grace[/name], a classic that would never be out of style.

I think the only way to spell [name]Ellysa[/name] is [name]Alyssa[/name]

[name]Alyssa[/name] [name]Fleur[/name] is different but ever so pretty.

I am one of the [name]Ava[/name] lovers so [name]Ava[/name] [name]Juliet[/name] would win me over big time.

I would choose [name]Everett[/name] [name]Patrick[/name] for your son, nn [name]Rhett[/name].

Another suggestion

[name]Everett[/name] [name]Wallace[/name]

[name]Juliette[/name] [name]Elise[/name] and [name]Everett[/name] are both gorgeous names - they definitely get my vote.
