First off I am brand new here so please forgive me if this isn’t the right place to post my middle name thread.
I am wanting to give myself a middle name or two. I was never given one at birth and since I have loved names since I can remember I really would love to have one.
I’m not sure if this will help you give me suggestions but here is a little bit about me. I am British. I live in the UK. I am 30 years old. I have strawberry blond hair and green eyes. I am an average height. I like to read, swim, horse ride, play games on the computer or xbox, watch TV. [name_m]Just[/name_m] the normal every day things really.
[name_f]My[/name_f] first name is [name_f]Laura[/name_f] and my surname is [name_u]Winter[/name_u]. These won’t be changed.
I think my taste is names is some what classic. I’m not sure though. To help you give me suggestions I have included some names I like whether or not I am considering them for my actual middles or not.
I am not looking to honour anyone in my name as I love to many people and wouldn’t know who to choose. I also don’t want to offend those I don’t choose so it’s easier for me to just choose names I like.
Thank you for any help. It will be much appreciated.
These are just ideas, I am not experienced in this type of thing so I don’t think they are much good.
Out of the ones you have for ideas I think that [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_f]Serena[/name_f] and [name_f]Kate[/name_f] would look good but I like the others too.
[name_f]Welcome[/name_f]! From your list I love [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], [name_f]Iris[/name_f], and [name_f]Estelle[/name_f]!
You might like:
[name_f]Celeste[/name_f]
[name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Delphine[/name_f]
[name_f]Capri[/name_f]
[name_f]Opal[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosamund[/name_f]
[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]
[name_f]Leonie[/name_f] (I like the alliteration)
[name_f]Blythe[/name_f]
[name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f], [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Katie[/name_f] would all be nice
Some ideas:
[name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_u]Ruby[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f]
[name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]
[name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Emily[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f]
[name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Serena[/name_f] [name_f]Estelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] - love this on its own!
I know the list you provided isn’t necessarily names you are considering, but I just wanted to say that I think [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u], [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u], [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u], or [name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] [name_u]Winter[/name_u] would all be very lovely.
In general though, because of your first and surname both being two syllables, I would probably go with a slightly longer middle (examples on your list like [name_f]Emily[/name_f], [name_f]Naomi[/name_f], [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f].) With this in mind:
[name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Melanie[/name_f]
[name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Felicity[/name_f]
[name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]
[name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Natalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Amelie[/name_f]
[name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Gillian[/name_f]
[name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Valerie[/name_f]
[name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f]
[name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f]
[name_f]Laura[/name_f] [name_u]Marion[/name_u]
Single syllable choices like [name_f]Jane[/name_f]/[name_u]Joan[/name_u]/[name_u]Jean[/name_u], [name_u]Shea[/name_u], [name_f]Claire[/name_f], [name_f]Ruth[/name_f], [name_f]Joy[/name_f], [name_f]Paige[/name_f] (or [name_f]Kate[/name_f] and [name_f]Rose[/name_f] from your list) would all have a nice cadence as well.
And some two syllable choices that would still work include [name_f]Esme[/name_f], [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], [name_f]Nadine[/name_f], [name_u]Marie[/name_u], [name_f]Celine[/name_f], or [name_u]Patrice[/name_u].
Thanks everyone for the feedback. I will sit down and look through your suggestions and have a think on what names I like. I will come back later for some more help I’m sure. Thanks again.
